Bit expensive for the services they provide Cleanliness not upto the mark As a medical professional, I have no reason to misrepresent my experience at your resort. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall maintenance during our stay did not meet acceptable standards. I stayed with four of my friends, and I am attaching the relevant details for your reference. I am also attaching a copy of the advance payment we made. Rather than attributing concerns to guests who have already invested their time and money, I would respectfully suggest that the management focus on identifying and rectifying the issues raised. Constructive feedback is intended to help improve service standards and prevent similar experiences for future guests. I hope you will take this in the right spirit and work towards enhancing the overall guest experience.

Our stay at the resort during Jan'26, was disappointing due to poor maintenance and lack of basic hospitality standards. The resort is not well maintained. The overall property looks neglected and does not match the expectations created through photos or pricing. Cleanliness and Food quality was a major concern throughout the stay. 1. This is located with in the chikkamagaluru town limit, not at the mountain valley. DO NOT go as per the NAME. 2. Photos and Videos are not as per the real pics. 3. Rooms and Bath rooms had bad smells and sticky. Not cleaned properly. 4. Swimming pool was not clean. 5. Garden and outdoor areas were poorly maintained. 6. Restaurant area was unhygienic. FOOD quality was very Bad...They compromised a lot in the quality. 7. Walkways and surroundings were dirty 8. Staff response was slow and unprofessional. 9. Overall experience was disappointing. 10.The resort does not justify the price charged. 11. The stay did not meet basic hospitality standards. 12. Not worth the money spent. We had very bad experience in this Mountain valley home stay in chikkamangalore. Checked in on 28th Dec & checked out on 29th December 2025. 1. Although mentioned about the airconditioner availability, but physically not available. 2. No cleanliness. 3. Faul smell in the washroom and even spread it in our room too. Totally unbearable. 4. Provided with dirty bed sheets and quilt. 5. Quilt do not have any cotton covers. Despite frozen temperature, we did not used the quilt as it was very dirty and without any cover. 6. Water supply was interrupted on several occasions and repeated calls required to rectify the problem. Kitchen too dirty and we can see many cats freely moving inside the kitchen. 7. Substanrd food stuffs. 8. They have tie up with taxys and charge exorbitant rate. 9. Not provided any basic facilities like electric kettle, toiletries etc. On my request they provided a kettle but it was unserviceable. Again on my request, they replaced but not a cleaned one. 10. Rs 7000/- they charged for a cottage for a single day, but totally my stay was very frustrated. We couldn't sleep for an hour even, though I spent RS 7000/-.They deserve even a grade far below to the very bad grad

Never expected this, Finalised for 5k as i cleary mentioned 9 adults, 2 kids and when we reach there they tried to charge 6k, and it’s finalised, very rude behaviour from the manager, he simply says if you want pay 6k then leave..! Very worst, Why can’t you give the phone to her as I confirmed with amreen, she was the one who confirmed for 5k, I clearly shared the details, it’s ridiculous

Booked the log house and pre paid 3k but when we arrived we were assigned a different room ,they said that the loghouse was not available and they didn't even check or confirm if we were cancelling or if we were arriving, and when we went for the buffet which was also already paid for they said there was no food for us with such a rude tone , no information was given that we should inform priorly for food , such a mood killer highly unrecommendable

Kindly don't book here; the price is very high, and the communication on the call was not proper. They said breakfast was included, but it wasn't when we arrived (after talking, they agreed to breakfast). Also, one more important thing: don't book their trekking jeep. They told me about six places, and we thought they were different areas, but the driver showed me all the places on the way off-road route and then said we were finished.

AVOID THIS RESORT AT ALL COST Never ever book this hotel if you care enough for your hard earned money. We booked this hotel 3 months prior and received Booking confirmation. Just 4 days before the trip, they cancelled our booking saying that we haven't received any communication from our end. They will demand extra money for booking and if it is a long weekend, god forbid, though you book in advance, the worthless receptionist and the hotel owner would simply cancel your booking saying ROOMS ARE SOLD OUT.

No cleanliness.... Rooms are dirty, they don't change the bedsheet or blanket before check-in. No dental kit no towel nothing. it is very unhygienic to stay there. They will charge full ( 5 to 6k) for the AC room but when you turn it on they will turn it off whenever they want. AC main switch is somewhere outside in the garden. They would not let you use it. it had been half an hour since we turned on the AC and they shut it down, owner of this home stay does that. it was very hot that day and my baby and my old Mother was with us. We stayed there for 2 days and they did the same thing. Before night they shut down the main AC switch so that no one can use it in the whole night. Can you believe it?? Very shameless people's homestay, they don't even care if you are with a child or an old person. They will give you food as if they are giving you for free. very bad experience.. people who are giving 1 or 2 star are the honest review.. if you don't believe then take a chance. think before going there, don't go with the pictures.. they are making fool of us in their comments.

This place is not good for peace loving family. Only for drinkers. No home stay rules regarding timing for music and drinking. Till 2: 30 am some guest were drinking and playing loud music. Worst sleep. Horrible experience. Family specially elders with heart issue and kids should avoid this place

1. The property was not able to accommodate early check- in which was told post paying our booking amount. 2. There were dead frogs caracas and bird feathers in the drive way which never got cleaned even after telling the staff. 3. As we were supposed to arrive early it was told that we could keep our luggage at the office area and would be provided a cab to visit a few places. But when we arrived we were asked to go check in some other lodge till the check out was done by the previous occupants. 4. Every meal would cost 300 Rs but after having one meal we found that the food was under cooked and Non-Veg option was limited to one gravy. 5. No running hot water as the Gyeser kept malfunctioning. There were no alternatives arranged and we had to work with slight warm water in a highly cold place. 6. The cabin was infested with mosquitoes and no options to get rid of them even when requested. 7. The pool is a joke don't know when it was last cleaned as there were fungi growing in the bottom. 8. The bathroom also had broken buckets and mugs which was great considering the messed up geyser situation. 9. They didn't know how and were to set up a campfire as once they did manage t

We visited mountain valley resort the price is very high and it is not at all worth for that location. Rooms was neat and clean but other than that nothing was good. When we visited other 3 groups were there but only one fire camp where all cannot be seated there. Food was not at all good and swimming pool was not maintained well. Service is not at all good. Please don't visit this resort for this much high price it is not at all worth who want to enjoy and chill, overall its pathetic.

They are not customer centric. They are not pleasing to have a conversation. They feel that they are providing room and food for free of cost. The food was worst, oily and cheap. The roadside food is much better than this home stay's food. They charge exorbitant prices. Would never go back again. If anybody still wants to go, get ready to experience what I said.
