Edited review in response to owners adament and arrogant response(Completely based on my view ) . This is my review based on experience, not on the refusal of the request for a refund as mentioned by the owner. "Owner will never admit the negative response."  Since I mentioned refund, he completely hanged on it and defended his part only based on that ask. I won't recommend it if you are seeing the pictures and choose to proceed. I was forced to choose since there were no good options near Temple. Terrible.. Requested if they can refund atleast half the amount after 3 hours.. They refused.. The bathroom was leaking. Flies and mosquitoes are all around.Uncomfortable stay... I could not and just ran away by early morning itself. ***Reply for your response 1. Once you check inn and after using washrooms bed and all we can’t refund. We used washrooms, but not beds! We just used the toilet and went to the temple. We thought to come back from the temple and discuss it with you since it was getting late. (Bed wasn't used; please confirm with your staff who came to checkout from the room.). 2. Once after using all the facilities and asking for refund is not justified. Please mention

The "helper" actually walked ahead of us empty-handed while we carried all of our own luggage, and since there is no lift, this was a major inconvenience. Don’t get carried away by the ratings . Nothing works in this lodge . Phone geysers ac, they centrally switch it off. They charged 3700 per night. They don’t entertain online bookings. Restaurant is very poor third grade food and untidy.

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. We paid the full-day rate despite staying for only 2 hours to freshen up, yet we were treated with zero respect. When we politely asked for an upgrade, the staff responded with an arrogant, 'show-off' attitude that was completely uncalled for. Most shockingly, the owner displayed the exact same unprofessional behavior instead of addressing our concerns. It is clear that the toxic attitude starts at the top and trickles down to the employees. Paying full price should at least guarantee basic courtesy, but this place fails miserably on hospitality. Save your money and go somewhere where the management actually values their customers.

This was a terrible experience. We booked this hotel just to freshen up and stayed for only two hours. Despite paying the full amount without complaining, our request to upgrade to an AC room due to the extreme heat in Dharmasthala was met with poor service—first saying they would try, then claiming no rooms were available. To make matters worse, the helper was not at all helpful he just walked ahead empty handed, while we carried our own luggage. And there was no lift facility as well.

I appreciate your eloquence and efficiency in defending your negativities and inefficiencies. I would suggest you keep this ability to improve the facilities and business rather than defend the customers. You are nicely tackling your own personal interests, as you mentioned. If we review our experience, you are making it false propaganda and defaming. The pillows and sheets were stinky, and we have the right to tag the pictures based on our experience. And you nicely manipulated it as we took the picture when checked in, until we shared it with time as a screenshot. So it's quite clear about your arrogant mindset. You mentioned you provide fresh covers, pillows, etc. If you provided that initially why we would request to change? Even before we requested the refund. In my initial response, it was mentioned about temple visits, and then only you mentioned it as work. So a

Edited review after owner reply for my earlier post- added new comments additionally This is the worst place to stay. Trust me..! I suggest to stay in any other hotel apart from this, from my point of view these are the draw back staying here 1. Bottle neck is crossing the river, peak hour in the morning, as visitors take bath in netravathi river, traffic jam like Bangalore due to poor parking by tourist Additional comments-Here it is nothing to blame hotel , sadly it is located in the wrong place as a visitor it's a pain to drive early in the morning thru the rush of traffic to temple. 2.Rooms are not that much clean and lack in basic ammenites to keep luggage, toiletery kits( even you should request for soap) Additional comments- I urge visitor to look at room (ventilation and others) specially if you are staying in dormatories Also you should carry your own luggage to different floors of the room without lift . No helpers just they are watchers. 3. Hot water wont be available continously. It is based on request basis . Additional comments- there is no switch in the room to use hot water when needed. We had booked a room for one night and it was a waste of money. First off there’s no internet and they say that they provide Wi-Fi but that damn Wi-Fi does not work. The telephone which is provided to call the reception and to order food is not working. To sum it up we paid for trashy service
