The only good thing about this Zostel is it's location. Below were the issues I faced. Technically I should file a police complaint but I'm not in Bangalore anymore so wouldn't help. 1. Tried to check in at 12PM instead of 1PM and didn't get a dorm until 1:30PM. 2. Initially I got a bed in a 10 bed dormitory when I'd asked for 6 bed dormitory. I got confused and later realized there are 10 beds instead of 6 and then got it changed. 3. The new dorm with 6 beds was equally pathetic. There was frequent electricity fluctuations the entire time of the stay and it didn't get fixed. 4. Now for the most horrible part. A guy I was sharing the dorm with had gone to the front desk and asked for my number which the reception person has shared without asking for my permission. What sort of privacy practice is this? The guy reached out to me via WhatsApp and started stalking me across multiple social media. Worst ever experience with this Zostel. And to think that I've been a Zostelite for so so long! Damnn this branch sucked.

Stayed here for a day and night. I’m very dissatisfied and won't come back to this place ever again. Here are the 8 things you must know before booking your stay at Zostel Koramangala. 1. They have a nice common area on the rooftop but you can’t enjoy your time there because from evening 6 to early morning this place is full of mosquitos. 2. The common area of this Zostel are nearly empty, and there’s almost no conversation, activities, or social life. The community vibe is totally missing. 3. If you ask them for plates and cutlery after ordering some food online, they will casually tell you to go out and buy disposable plates. During my one-day stay in the Zostel, I couldn’t enjoy my food at all. How will you eat properly without plates? 4. The staff at the reception don’t speak a word of English, and communicating with them is a task. Also, this interaction will immediately make you feel like you are in a local place. 5. The pictures of the washrooms and other areas that you see in various apps are taken from the time this property was started. Right now, the actual look of the washrooms is pathetic, with leaking pipes, broken tiles, and damaged toilet seats. 6. Washrooms

Extremely unprofessional behavior by staff, very disrespectful and unhelpful regarding customer service the guy at checkin counter was sleeping do not bother to talk because we checked in late and disturb his peacefull sleep. (Word from him tum log abhi jaa sakte ho no need to wait in lobby area we just requested him, we area travelling from so long just need an hour to wait will checkin in morning ) Again words by him was tum log niklo don’t know what was he high on not a safe place to be in Can lay their hand on customer if they want will surely never ever visit agian in Zostel indiranagar

Will not recommend it at all, very poor rooms and shady roomates. My personal belongings were used and they have shady labourers who are clean the toilet, work on construction work in the hostel and also fold your linens and blankets making it an absolute disgusting experience. DO NOT BOOK HERE AND AVOID IT ALL COSTS

Zostel i stayed in the place for more then a week They don’t know the value of hospitality in this hostel the way they manage like a children first problem one they through my food management don’t wan reply they put blame on me I ignored But today morning someone in the same room wake me up and threatened me I came down to complain there is no value response they saying they don’t have any responsibility y single people who travel come to hostel for safety they tel me I have to vacate the hostel As a backpack traveller for me zostel is not safe for women in this hostel there is lot of post no alcohol every day people drink alcohol in the hostel do shit As a request to zostel franchise please clear the issue otherwise I take to social media same zostel not giving to safety I never gonna visit see the pictures no clean room when I ask about hygienic they say vacate and i al vacating the place right now because my peace is important Please change the management

I had initially booked the female dorm, but the conditions were quite poor. The bathrooms were unclean, and I had to shift once because I was told the dorm was under maintenance. Even after moving to the new dorm, the washroom became clogged the very next day. Though I had planned a 5-day stay, I checked out early due to a change in plans. While the morning manager assured me of a refund, I haven't received any. I understand that Zostel typically has a no-refund policy, but it was disappointing to have the manager promise a refund only for the backend team to deny it later.

I wish I can rate less than 1 star for this spot. Looks so colourful and clean in pictures but it was absolute contradicting to the images shown in the websites. First of all , the location of this hostel was inside a small street and there were no hotels or shops nearby. Secondly , the hygiene was disastrous!! The common area sofas , chairs and floor mats were not cleaned since ages . So it was very stuffy inside . Thirdly and most importantly, there was no ventilation. Once you enter inside the property, forget about sunlight and fresh air since there are no windows at all and it’s only a closed space area everywhere. With the terribly maintained sofas without the ventilation, it was a nightmare for me to stay more than a day. Though I booked for 2 days I vacated this place in a day . I thought Zostel is a brand name which can be blindly trusted . But after this experience has changed that perception. Wonder how this place got so many ratings !! The rooms were okayish but washrooms were not cleaned on time . Phewww !!!

They are welcoming and gave me blanket, locker also but with some deposit which you can take back when you are leaving. There is no light working on my bed at all. Suddenly within few hours there is no flush or water and no one comes to check or no housekeepingat all. Washroom is very dirty with water and all other items. No cleanliness and no hand wash.its very disappointing. There is no lift, common rooms are also not hygienic and location is a diaster no nearby shops and shady . I stayed in many places like hosteller,other hostels in all over India this is the worst for the price we are paying. I dont know why they are taking so much money with no hygiene. No wonder in hostelworld there are not having much reviews other than 5. I stayed in 10 sharing mixed dorm.
