If you are planning to visit this place based on the photos on Google or the ones shared by the owner, please be aware that the rooms are not as good as they appear in the pictures. The switches are broken, the fans don’t work, and the rooms smell unpleasant. The caretaker’s response is okay but not great. I would not recommend this place for families. The food is okay, and the surrounding nature is good. Cost also very high

The worst service ever provided in Chikmagalur district. There is no commen washroom for emergency. Rooms were not clean at check in so had to wait for an hour, not even a single person asked us to sit until thy finish. After clearing thy are not changing the blankets and bed covers smells. Limited coffee is provided coffe city in flask. No music no fire. The worst ever service provided in Chikmagalur. I'm from Chikmagalur I've never seen a home stay with such bad hospitality... I can still go on how worst the service.. I regret for refering my friend and there family..

Rooms is not good. Bed is not clean its a unhygienic washroom. There were so many lizards in the roof and they fall down on out beds I experienced so many times. so scary and poor room cleaning. Pantry will be open area monkeys will come and eat our food at least they would have maintain food area is to be closed.

This stay is a complete scam,we saw the pics and YouTube videos which are very old. We booked it and once reached we were surprised to see the pathetic condition of everything and place looked ghostly, don't play to stay with family.we were scared if they might loot us as we were just 2 couples staying. They denied taking pics but still i captured few of them. 1 - staff is very unprofessional ,they don't know anything. 2 - food looked horrible and i checked kitchen it seemed like they haven't cleaned it from years. 3 - food court chairs and table were poorly maintained and looked dirty. 4 - they don't even have water bottle,will give water thru kitchen which is too unhygienic to drink. 5 - balconies were big but no privacy from other rooms balcony as same is connected for other rooms as well. 6 - rooms we could see bed bugs, broken furniture,dirty blanket and bedsheets. 7 - washroom geyser not working and too dirty. 8 - we could find termites every where in wooden area. 9 - overall very poorly maintained and got to know from near by people that previously it was good and now owner changed and since then it's horrible.

Location is bit far from the city but in the woods which makes location ok however the behaviour of staff is very rude specially the person at the front desk and takes care of kitchen and room service... He will show you great attitude and dont speak anything rlse then kannada... No English no nothing... Difficult to stay... In certain cases he will stare you to scare off... There is no AC and power goes off 20 times a day and night. Night time thry dont even turn on the power backup and let their guests safer... Dont recommend

Had a poor experience, especially with the owner's attitude. Stayed for 2 nights. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FAMILIES! There is a reason why this is not on any booking websites! Pros: Location, relatively new construction. The balcony view is great. Cons: 1. No power for most of the time. Generator did not work the first day, and we had to sleep without fan, and it was somewhat hot inside the room. At night, the bathrooms were dark, and it was difficult without any light. The next day, owner said it is the government's problem that there is no power! 2. Water heater in one of the two rooms did not work for the first day. It was rectified after 12 hours of reporting it, the next day. They said the delay was our fault since we were outside and they didn't have keys. 3. Due to power failure, there was no chutney with the breakfast items the second day, the staff asked us if we can adjust with sugar. We left for sightseeing after declining politely. This was also framed as your fault since as per them, we should've waited till 9.30 am, when the power was apparently restored. 4. The first day there were a group of 10 or 12 guys, who had completely occupied the pool table and did not leave i

we have booked a room for three. Location is good and staff are helpful and courteaus..But not sure the manager and management worry about the cleanliness or food quality and menu. when we saw the room the bed spreads and pillows are not cleaned and staff asked us to take the room, we insisted to change everything couple of times and then the changed. about the food, there is no rasam,curd or papad for lunch .. quality of food they gave also not upto the mark.for breakfast then server only vermicelli and some colour rice, though its nice and tasty when we asked about other south indian BF it was told we dont give that. When we tried contacting the manager he was not available to give suggestions and owner just avoid talking about complaints. Also the balcony view is good but it would spoil your entire trip when some body in the next room also sits in their balcony. Our night was spoiled when some locals came for drinking kept loud music and shouting/talking in high voice. NOT RECOMMENDED!!! The one star is for the view from the balcony...its beautiful.... We had booked two rooms for 2 nights. Here are the issues we faced: 1. No power: Most of the time power was not there. In one of the rooms, heater was also not working. When asked about power, the staff said generator is not working properly and that there will be one dim light and one power socket working in each room.. heater was repaired after repeated reminders the night before we vacated!! 2. Food: Starters were good. But, first morning when we went for breakfast, they said they had idli and no chutney since there is no power and advised us that we can eat idli with sugar!! We didnt eat there... There was no power since the night before. I dont understand why they would plan to prepare a dish that needed chutney to be made... Dinner on the first night was just ok! For second day dinner, they gave us chapati, rice, sambhar and two veg subjis..we were the only guests there on that day and 3 of us were non-vegetarians!! I really think what they gave are the left overs from lunch... This dinner is charged 300 per person!!! 3. Attitude of owner: When we booked, he told us that it wud cost Rs.2200 p

1 star for the view from balcony, The is list of irregularities 1. No proper road leading to the place 2. No receptionist, room service 3. Rooms that weren't cleaned, hair, used tissues left in bathroom 4. No WiFi 5. No power back up 6. Food is comparable to hostel mess 7. Indoor games used by localite people, no privacy for resort occupants. 8. Improper parking space 9. No room heater. 10. Overpriced, they don't provide toiletries. The list is endless we had to vacate within in 4 hrs, as there were no other occupants, and the atmosphere is not suited for single ladies.

Not a good place. They overcharge you and then they comprise on food. They lie that food is finished and offer you less. No AC in room (May not need at night, but you will need it in day time). Mornings have bit lower temperature in this place, but geyser does not work in this resort. It feels scary to be at this place as it is in the midst of a forest. At night you won't feel going outside as noises of insects would come and it is dark outside. Not recommended for couples.

One of the most dirtiest stay , i guess oyo rooms would have been a better option. Not sure how is this even called a resort. Food options are pathetic. They dont have any extra stock . Also chicken looks like PCP pieces are used . Please dont come here. Its waste of money . Manager doesn't like negative feedback. He just argues to cover up his mistakes.

Normally i do not give reviews. Need to warn future guests - this is One of the most unhygienic and dirty homestays. No soap in bathroom, bedsheets and pillows stained. Toilet walls doors and wc stained . Rubbish and cigarette stubs at the entrance of the Dining hall. Stay at your own risk.
