AVOID..Its not a hotel rather its a lodge. Worst experience. Restaurant "The Bridge" is available, however do not comment anything as we never had any food here. 1. It's not a hotel, rather a lodge. 2. Only Clarks Inn branding is visible but no standards. 3. The room is spacious however it does not have even basic facilities like hot water. 4. Bath towels provided were soiled. 5. Rooms are not clean. Not worth the price i paid. Its worth around Rs.500

We stayed at this so-called Clarks Inn recently with family and friends, and it turned out to be worse than a basic lodge. The lift wasn’t working during our entire stay, and the rooms were far below the expected standard. It seems to be run by local management who have no concern for guest comfort or hospitality. The location itself is inconvenient and poorly maintained — nothing like what’s shown online. Overall, a total waste of money and time. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property if you’re looking for a comfortable or reliable stay.

Clarke's Inn experience in Bagalkot (June 2022) was Horrible. No clean bathroom or Bedsheets. The complimentary breakfast was like they are offering to a beggar. The dish was served cold and no body was there at restaurant. I had call them to serve and they came reluctantly. Better to close this lodge than run like this. I stayed in Hospet - Clarkes Inn, it was awesome, but Bagalkot one is worst. I am planning to stay in Other cities and travel to Bagalkot for my next trip, as all other Lodges in Bagalkot are alike.

The hotel is not maintained well, the staff can be more courteous, and the restaurant needs a facelift. The location is good, very close to the railway station. However, there is a lot of dust due to it being on the main road/flyover. The pricing can be reduced. We had paid ₹2500/room per night. The whole experience would have been excellent if the room rent was priced under ₹1000/night. The first room allotted to us did not have a working latch on the balcony door. So we had to get it changed in the middle of the night when we found out. It is highly doubtful if this belongs to the coveted Clarks Inn chain of hotels.

Service team is very lethargic no response..took 1 hour to bring food which is not good... Stret side food is better than this... It’s a 2 star lodge kinda property who have franchised Clark’s Inn brand to capitalize a ₹700/- room and sell it for ₹2500/-. To start with the rooms are very very dirty (I found peanuts in the room from the earlier occupants). The bed linen is dirty with dust every where. Second, the showers in the bathroom don’t work as they are too pre historic so they have conveniently kept a bucket and a mug. The water in the taps stink. The towels aren’t clean and fresh. Thirdly, as mentioned in their website you wouldn’t find a minibar, a kettle or any bathrobes or slippers in your room. Fourthly, the photos of the room on their website are not real as there is no room (Deluxe Room) that looks the same in the hotel. Last but not the least the food they serve would probably make you sick. Their in room dining has a decent menu but unfortunately more than half of the things aren’t in stock like coffee, ice cream etc. there are no glasses or cups in the room. And don’t be surprised if you find spider webs around you!! Overall it’s a very very misleading property charging ₹2500/- for lodge type services you could otherwise get for ₹1000/- with pathetic cleanliness and services.

The kind of hotel that charges you for AC even when the AC doesn’t switch on. Disappointing and disgusting, no hot water in morning (or maybe hotel staff is instructed to say lukewarm is hot). The cherry on cake: phone to room service doesn’t work, you’ve to go n greet them for even to order cup of tea. P.S. don’t bother complaining, they wont fix. Maybe that’s what you get for the price you pay.

The receptionist or the individual present at the Front Desk on the night of 11/Nov/'2024 and 12/Nov/'2024 was extremely rude. Their sole objective was to earn money from every situation of the guest. This was a very disappointing experience. The management should be aware of this.

One of the worst decisions made to stay at this place. No proper facilities. No hot water in the bathroom for all the 3 nights we stayed. After day 1 we were asked to shift room thinking that the other rooms will have hot water, but no. We realized other rooms had kettle and ours didn't. We got the kettle after asking which was a saviour to have hot water bath. No proper supplies of tea and coffee sachets. Breakfast was charged 200 rs but it was just idli, poha, paratha. Nothing else apart from these and it was a cold breakfast.

They have charged for Non AC 2500 per night its too expensive really. 1.Dirty/uncleaned toilets. 2.No hot water available always. 3.Tv satellite is not recharged(Asked several times to recharge) 4.Worst food in the hotel. 5. Bad Rooms with Broken Switch Boards. 6.No bulbs in bed lamps. 7.Rusted toilet door locks(Very difficult to open when coming from bath) 8.Some kind of bad smell comes out from toilet always. 9.Mainly no filter drinking water available(If we ask from hotel they will provide normal tap water) 10.Hotel out side environment its too dirty. 11.No proper transport facilities near the room(Auto or Bus) 12.Rusted/Uncleaned toilet towel hanger. 13.Very irresponsive management and staffs.

The worst bathroom I have ever seen. Slow service and unhygienic rooms. Wi-Fi is pretty good, though. I suggest there should be a single bed rather than 2 separate beds. The ACs was an important addition. It is much better compared to other hotels in bagalkot.
