Food is very bad. I complained many times, but nothing changed. It feels like no one really cares about improving it. Management attitude is poor. When tenants raise problems, they are mostly ignored. Owner is only active for rent. When rent time comes, the owner keeps calling again and again like it’s a big emergency. But when it comes to fixing issues like food or facilities, there is no urgency at all. I’m also expecting the owner might reply saying “I don’t know this person.” That seems to be the easiest way to avoid taking responsibility here. Message to the owner: If the food quality and management actually improve, I will happily update this review and give a positive rating. Until then, I honestly suggest people look for a better PG.

Venkateshwara Gents PG in Bangalore is a living nightmare. The owner's abysmal attitude and complete lack of communication and going around accusing people about something they haven't done make your stay a dreadful experience. He's a miser who cares only about money, imposing absurd restrictions on everything, from appliance usage to meals. The food is a repetitive and tasteless affair, offering nothing but plain rice and watery sambar. The living conditions are deplorable, with dangerous electrical issues that affect every appliance, and maintenance requests for essentials like the water filter and washing machine go unanswered for weeks. Moreover, there's the constant nagging about where you can stand or sit, and even speaking with your family or discussing project ideas is forbidden in this oppressive environment. Frankly speaking, even this one star isn't worth it.

The stay here is not manageable, mainly because of the poor food quality. Rice bath is often served without chutney or curd, making it very dry and difficult to eat. The chutney provided with dosa and idli is also below standard — it lacks taste and doesn’t seem to be made with proper ingredients like coconut. There are also serious consistency concerns. Many times, rice prepared earlier in the day appears to be mixed with freshly made rice, and even chapatis from the previous day seem to be served along with fresh ones. This raises clear quality and hygiene issues. These are basic expectations for any PG. When even minimum food standards are not maintained, it directly affects daily living. This needs immediate and serious attention from the management.
