It openly lotting of the book, which no one tell us about it is being purchased. Before booking please ask them to show the rooms, especially you go with kids. Be careful from scam.

I recently visited Dharmasthala and booked a temple-managed hotel online, trusting the temple’s name for a respectful and peaceful stay. I came with my fiance (we are soon going to be engaged), and the moment we arrived, the staff asked, 'Are you married or unmarried?' When we said we’re not yet married, they rudely told us that unmarried couples are not allowed, a rule that was not mentioned anywhere during the booking process. When I politely pointed this out, the staff became rude, aggressive, and used offensive language. One staff member even spoke in Tulu, assuming I wouldn’t understand, but I know Tulu and heard the baseless and insulting remarks about our intentions. It was deeply humiliating and unnecessary. We chose a temple-managed hotel for its values, but instead, we faced judgment, humiliation, and language I never expected. I strongly request the temple management to address this issue, retrain the staff, and clearly communicate hotel policies online. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

It's a place where you'll be looted in broad daylight and the staff have no shame in doing that. They will hand you over a book, which is of no relevance, which you as a customer didn't ask. They'll take your money at the time of checking and will not notify you that you have purchased the book. During check out when the entire money was not returned, he puts up a face where it seems we are in the wrong. Please beware of such scams

Absolutely not recommending this guest house if you are travelling with a baby, Even after repeated requests for a better room their was no proper response, The Rooms are not well maintained & the bathroom stinks 😩. For a 4 Bed Room they charged 1000Rs and the luxury of this Room is you get an Automated Fan Setting which works on its own terms sometimes at stand still & sometimes at peak power. Dharmasthala Management - Please look into this.

Very worst service, very rude behaviour from the staff, rooms are pathetic, never recommend this place. Front desk Staff behaves rudely as if he is providing rooms for free, no blanket is provided, no hot water nothing, and the beds are like hospital beds, never visit this place.

For 4 bed the cost was 1000rps , but the room and washroom was not clean. The washroom was slippery and while booking we can see 24hrs hot water, but no hot water at all. The people who sit in reception are least bothered to respond, we told that we have 6months old baby and we need atleast a jug of hot water for baby...but the people are least bothered

Rooms are good, but not cleaned regularly. We see spider nets and cockroachs. They should have kept towels and soaps atleast while charging 2000 rs. And there is no proper service. People are really helpful. But no basic amenities in the room.

They are harassing the visitors who are booking through online. When they got to know we can't speak kannada, they started harassing more. They don't have any terms and conditions mentioning unmarried couples can't stay there while booking online. After reaching the hotel, they didn't allow although I had bookings for two persons. They said to go and use public toilets. When we objected, the reception guy said unmarried people should not come to temple. I was just wondering which rule book of temple has written this statement.

They just provide bare minimum things..Rooms are not clean ,no blankets are provided, No hot water is available, frequent electricity cut off due to which lifts doesn't work.Still they mention facility of three they don't provide any mattress for third person.Hygine is well maintained.Front desk/receptionist behaves rudely if questions asked.its just cheap stay if you just want to sleep for the day..Not recommended for families.
