Worst Experience at Doddamane Mandara The place had an unpleasant and disturbing environment with people openly drinking, smoking, and playing cards with betting money. *It felt more like a gambling den than a homestay completely unfit and unsafe for families* There was absolutely no sense of hospitality from the hosts. Smoking and drinking were allowed even in the dining area, making it highly uncomfortable for families with children. The food service was equally disappointing lunch was not prepared properly, and unless you kept asking repeatedly, nothing was served. The lady in charge, Mrs. Priya, made several promises but did not fulfill any of them. Vegetarians were neglected, and treated with clear bias, which was extremely upsetting and disrespectful. To make matters worse, no chairs were provided to sit, and we were told that “the drunkards have taken them,” which shows how poorly the place is managed. Morning tea was served only around 8:30a.m., there was no hot water, and the bathrooms were dirty and unhygienic. Though this location is easy to be found the main problem is it is not well maintained with Important amenities, we were disappointed with the whole stay as there was no Power throughout, dark washrooms, uncleaned pillow covers, no activities like Carrom, shuttle cock or chess. basically you will have to sit in the dark after Late Evening. ||The food served in the Lunch was good, rest all was not so Tasty, The Tea & Snacks provided was Cold. We had top send out the snacks to be heated up. ||We had to request them to switch on the Generator at least to charge the cellphones and it was promptly switched on for 30 minutes.||It will be really a great place if shown little dedication and worked on the Improvement.

A mixed experience with great potential. I stayed at Doddamane Mandara Homestay from April 3rd to 5th. Here is my honest breakdown: The Good: The homemade food was absolutely amazing—easily the highlight of the stay. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. Areas for Improvement: Maintenance: Room doors need repair as they require significant force to close. The property is still a "work in progress," and the grounds could be better maintained to allow for more walking space. Activities: The pool was unfortunately dirty and unusable. Some outdoor activities exist but felt unsafe or neglected. There is a nice space near the pool for groups to gather, but it needs better upkeep. Communication: There is a significant language barrier if you don't speak Kannada, as only one staff member could communicate with us. It was difficult to know what was available (like the campfire or special requests) because no one briefed us upon arrival. Suggestion: A "Welcome Kit" or a QR code with local maps and property rules would go a long way in helping guests navigate the area. Overall, it's a decent stay for the food, but the management needs to be more proactive in guiding guests and maint

Had a comfortable stay. We were a group of 9 people. There is one room with 3 double beds and a single bed and few other rooms a single bed and a double bed. The charges were ₹2000 per head per day which also included food. There is a pretty big backyard with gazebos. We enjoyed hours of bonfire and barbecue. There are no constraints from management regarding noise, fun, drinks etc.||Manjarabad fort is just half a km away from the homestay. There are other beautiful scenic spots around the homestay within 5-7 kms radius
