“The owner is very deceptive, first of all scammed us by not telling that the chikmagluru will be closed for tourists because of some festival. And then he refused to give us back our half payment which we did as a deposit money. Overall the behaviour is not good and is very rude. Best to to about this place.”

“The manager behaves very rudely with customers. When trying to order food he tells people to order from the hotel's restaurant but they won't deliver the food to the room. Also if ordering food from outside they won't even provide plates and glass to eat or drink. Even if their restaurant doesn't have the food option in the menu. The rooms smell and the entire place has a messy look right from the front door till the rooms. The bathrooms have no soap or hand wash as such. The only thing going for them is the rate but there are alot of hotels nearby who gives almost the same rate and lot better service.”

“Don't ever stay at Malnad Paradise if you can get availability in any other random hotel within the vicinity. It is No where close to the word 'Paradise', in fact it is a nightmare to stay there in every possible way. ||Spent one horrible night unwilling at the hotel as it was a peak season at Chikmaglur and all the other hotels had no rooms at all available. Listed below are a few bad experiences faced during our stay-||||1. As it was a peak season the reception guy charged us 2000 inr for a one day stay. ||2. No ID proof taken at the time of check in which is a question on their security standards||3. Broken and dirty building inside out including the rooms||4. Washroom sink was choking badly throughout, toilet faucet was broken hence water was dropping ||5. Poor room service. In fact when we asked about morning tea, we were suggested to go outside as they can get it only after 7am. Asked hotel staff in the Chek in morning to get idly sambhar which he did but without any plates or spoon. Apparently hotel do not have any plates also for its customers and no room cleaning service. Poor blankets, dirty room walls add up to the self proclaimed 1st class room by the staff. ||HAHAHA!|”

This hotel is for social economy D for low class. I had raised a police compliant against hotel. Very very bad experience in the night we hv left the hotel without taking our 1500 booking amount. Don't visit ever. Hotel should closed down their shutter. Pls tell this to angoda, MakeMyTrip n all other people

"PLEASE NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL MALNAD PARADISE AS TOILET CURRENT SWITCHES ARE EARTHING AND YOU WILL BE GETTING ELECTRIC SHOCK." we had booked this hotel and we went there, Receptionist was saying room which you booked is given to another people.hence will give you another room. 1st question: How they can give the room already booked to someother? As it was around 10 pm at night, we agreed for the alternate room..when we went and saw the room was very dirty but smelling air freshner. I put on switch of toilet. It was full Electric Shock on the hand 😲 felt like unconscious for around 5 secs as switch was passing electric currents through my hand...suddenly I just removed my hand from the switch. Then I immediately went and informed to the receptionist there and explained about Electric shock. He didn't even bother to listen to me and said u can go to another hotel. We went to another hotel at last...

Everything was great about this hotel - the staff - the food - the amenities - room cleanliness - washroom - ease of check-in and check-out - we loved it all, until we had an issue in the parking. We noticed that one of our bikes had been messed with - someone while parking their car had hit the front side of our bike, making the indicators bend. No one from the authority came up to justify our case. The CCTV camera was not working- and the management and the hotel manager ignored our says and said,"its none of his business". So that ruined our whole experience in this hotel.

VijayKishore★★★★★It was just one of the so many lodges in that lane.||Unfortunately we stopped our bike there and had no energy to walk around and inquire about other lodges (the biggest mistake we did).||||Room was not worth the price.||1. Not so clean. 2. No light in bathroom 3. No mosquito protector, just a mesh attached. But no idea what they will do with the mosquitoes that come via bathroom. 4. Have to go out for food. 5. Irresponsible staff and service who responds after 20 mins when we press that bell from room. 6. Bar attached. 7. Hot water availability timings (Starts at morning 6.30). Most of the time gets wasted here for the people who comes for visiting the nearby places by starting early.||||One situation:||They told hot water will be available from 5.30 AM or 5.45 AM in the morning while checking in.||And the next day morning service staff said so irresponsibly that we can give hot water only from 6.30 AM. The reason was so stupid that everyone in the lodge has to wake up. Vidya Shree★★★★★Dears, We family had booked this hotel Malnad Paradise to stay at Chikamagalur. When we had been there, Receptionist told that room which we booked earlier is given to others. How they can give the room to other people which is already booked? Receptionist said wil provide alternate room. When we checked that alternate room ,it was soooo dirty with smelling bad...they had put air freshner to smell good. 2nd thing is when my sister put on the switch of Toilet, It was passing Electric Shocks to her. Suddenly she took her hand away from the switch with God Grace nothing serious happened but for 5 secs electric currents were passing through the switch on her hand. When we informed this to the receptionist there, he didn't even care about it, neglected..hence we shifted to another hotel.

I had got 2 rooms in the ground floor, it was nothing but a basement room, with the Bar & Restaurant right above and the people cause a racket, there are bandicoots and mosquitoes in plenty, please avoid.

RK-MANGALORE★★★★★Gist of my advice to tourists:||We had been to chikmaglur in Dashera holidays, For our bad luck we parked our car near this lodge in search of rooms.They greeted well showed the room and said please pay advance we will clean the room.||IT WAS VERY UN HYGENIC ETC BUT ABOVE ALL||||THIS LODGE IS GAANJA SMOKERS AND DRINKERS HUB (which we realized in night)||||They have a tie up with a Mallu guy he brings GROUP OF MALLU TOURISTS REGULARLIY AND THEY ENJOY||||PLEASE FAMILY N DECENT GUYS 100% AVOID THIS LODGE FOR YOUR SAFETY.||||WHOLE NIGHT WE WHERE AWAKE..||||NEVER VISIT GAANJA LODGE
