I stayed one day in the lodge room of this hotel when I came from Bengaluru to Shivamogga for some work. From the very beginning, the experience was terrible. At the reception itself, the staff showed a lot of attitude. They did not respond properly or attend to customers. It felt as if they were doing us a favor by giving a room, not providing a service we were paying for. Later, I went to their restaurant and ordered idli, vada, puri, masala dosa, and coffee. The sambar and chutney were clearly stale and the taste was very bad. The food quality was extremely poor and not fresh at all. Since I had taken a room there, I did not say anything at that moment and just left it. Then I ordered coffee again, and it was even worse. The milk was clearly spoiled and the coffee tasted sour. Anyone could easily notice it was bad. When I called the waiter and told him about the problem, instead of checking it politely, he started arguing and said the milk only comes like that. This kind of response is completely unacceptable. I left the coffee without drinking it. When I went to pay at the cash counter, the person there (maybe the owner or manager) also behaved in the same rude manner. Inste

Worst food ever, the owner talks in rude way, they are not accepting any UPI payments and if we ask him why, he replies in a rude way....overall worst experience.. also I found hairs in the food, don't go and waste your money and your precious respect

Since rating is not zero giving one start. Lodge is not too bad . Hospitality of the staff is worst room was ok but attached bathroom was below the mark as ventilation was not proper and taps were leaking. If owner of the hotel see my review request you to improve the attitude of the staffs being customer friendly and renovate where it's necessary. Only exterior doesn't matter interior also matters. And parking is a big headache no space for parking need to see at the roadsides.

1) Restaurant inside says - kindly don't be urgent during food service, but waiters just are so urgent in taking money for the service. 🤦🏻‍♂️ 2) Ordered water bottle to the room, and server charged 25/- , the water was not tightly capped, the water was not clear, then interrogated with the cashier or the restaurant, he said it was tap water and apologized 🤦🏻‍♂️. Then why did he take the 25/- for that service. 3) as usual the room not maintained well and bathrooms / commodes are not great. Not good for a family but okay for some youngsters who are in a hurry and just stay for quick snack or stay. Hope this helps. Only good thing about this place is its location. Stay for 1-2 days and leave the hotel and finish your work for which you came to shimoga.

Worst experience, we too 2 sharing room with extra bed n for extra bed we thought there is a cot for 3rd person but they gave local mattress that too we only adjusted mattress and when asked for mink blanket for extra bed the receptionist refused to giving saying it won't come , fact is they charged 500rs for that local mattress that too for 1 day just imagine the cost itself of mattress is 800rs that means they're looting . Receptionist is rude.

Never visit the restaurant. The food is horrible. The attitude of the staffs are like have it or get-out. Cashier is one horrible guy. They won't accept online payment so that they can avoid taxes. Not even UPI.

pathetic managers, front desk. Worst and Zero customer empathy. Arrogant lot. They think they are doing favor to us. Story of tier-2 cities. come with no/zero expectations. Advantage, attached hotel( at the cost quality and hygiene) :-)

Lodge is average 👍🏻 Hotel food taste is also average. If you want to see how to behave rudely with customers then this is the best plce. Starting from the manager till the supplier have no sense (not even common sense) to behave with customers. All are bloddy BP patients. If youwant to see money throwing skills on table then cashier will show you . Worst hotel in terms of service.
