“I recently stayed at Jhari Retreat with my family, and unfortunately our experience was very disturbing. Our booking was for 4 people, but the resort staff allowed around 15 boys to stay in a nearby room for a birthday celebration. They were openly drinking and smoking, and later in the night they started banging on our door and ringing the doorbell repeatedly, which made the situation extremely uncomfortable and unsafe for my family. We tried calling the caretaker multiple times, but no one answered. There was also no intercom facility available to reach the staff. Since the resort is located in a very remote area, mobile network connectivity was also not available. We even attempted to contact the police, but due to the lack of network we were unable to do so. Unfortunately, we had no option but to spend a very stressful and horrible night. There also seemed to be no proper security arrangements in place to handle such incidents, which is particularly concerning for families, women, and children staying at the property. To be fair, the owner later contacted us and refunded our booking amount, which we appreciate. However, that does not change the experience we had to go throu”

“The bedsheet had blood stains on it. Bucket and mug were not clean. It's the basic hygiene that a place follows. No in house kitchen. Not much activities to do. Horse riding is also chargeable. Not suggested if hygiene matters to you. Mosquitoes were there. We could hear outside noise because of which baby wasn't able to sleep. I had a cut on hand asked for a bandaid they don't have a medical box also. Balconies were dirty we had 2 kids. We went after reading other reviews now feel like they were paid”

“We stayed for 1 day as a family with our 2.5 year old kid. First the Pros. Location is very good surrounded by fields and view of the hills. Rooms are neat. Property is less than an year old. Easy access from Bangalore. Travel time is just 1.5 hrs. Now the Cons. There is nothing much to do in terms of activities for kids. No kids play area. Swimming pool is too small. Looks like its just made for alcohol lovers to get in and drink. Room gets really hot in the day. No ceiling fan inside. Food is brought by the staff from a restaurant outside. I would suggest better check for the quality before you order. They say no pool timings. People are allowed to sit at the pool, get inside the water and consume alcohol. Play loud music. We were terribly disturbed by this and nothing was done. The party makers continued shouting and playing heavy music till 3am. We just could not sleep. No response from the management. When asked they said they expect this kind of crowd only and families need to come during weekdays. What kind of response was that. Just cant get that. Once the party makers make merry in the pool and put all the garbage inside you cant even use the pool. And I doubt if it gets c”

Nandini K S★★★★★We recently visited Jhari resort. I just say there were both Pros and Cons. Beautiful home stay around Nandi Hills. Travel distance from Bangalore is 1.5hrs. Nature lovers would love the place. The place is built on huge rocks and hence it's cold during nights but hot during summer noon. The property follows home stay concept which needs a lot of improvement. We visited the property at around 11:30, well before check in time at 12pm. We had booked a total of 3 rooms and even after 12 pm, one of rooms were never cleaned until 1 pm. The room which we stayed had no basic facilities like extra bedspread for additional bed and the body shower bottle was broken which was left as is. To our surprise, lunch was not prepared since the staff confirmed , we had ordered A la carte which we never agreed. After a few minutes of discussions, the staff agreed to serve buffet but with very limited food items. Lunch was served around 3 pm. I should say that food tasted.good, but needs attention on hygiene. The dustbin was kept right next to the place where the food was placed and it was bit uncomfortable. We were served with coffe and tea at around 6:30 pm with uncooked snacks. We ordered 10 coffee

Mansi Gupta★★★★★Situated in middle of a rural area this place is beautifully maintained surrounded by hills and farms. Was disappointed when comes to food but loved the 4 legged companion who walked around with us.

karthik lal k★★★★★It's an okay place. The view is really awesome and the pool is one of the best attractions of this place. Also foothill of Nandi hills is around 7 to 8 kms. In terms of activity nothing much here as it is comparatively a small place. Also they don't have an in-house cook if the number of guests are less they arrange for food from a nearby restaurant.

shashank tripathi★★★★★Amazing place with beautiful view, staffs are very friendly and polite. We took duplex room, balcony has great views and relaxing vibe. Dinner was not good, need improvement, however there is an option for home delivery of food. Approach road from main road is very bad. Overall experience was excellent.

Sanjay Kumar★★★★★Calm place, beautiful swimming pool and that is it. If you like to have peaceful stay not far away from the city, you can opt for this place but if you are expecting activities, great options in food, then stay away. Food spread should improve but will appreciate the taste, which is good. Their campfire area and the big screen to watch sports in the evening are good unless it rains. Rooms have AC and TV but basic things like towels were missing (even in pool area). Parking for cars is just outside the gate.

Karthik★★★★★I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jhari Retreat. The moment we arrived, the stunning, tranquil setting instantly made it feel like a peaceful sanctuary away from the stresses of daily life. Especially in the nyt it was just awesome. Sitting on the rock outdoors, open sky, listening to your favorite songs with a group of friends or family with a chilled beer and the tasty starters cooked by Sharath and served by Ram, I will definitely visit with my friends once again just for these things. Standout aspect of our stay was undoubtedly the incredible hospitality extended by Ram and Sharath. Their attentiveness and warmth truly made the experience special. And also I had asked a cake for midnight 12 and he made sure It was provided on time. Thanks Nithin. Now there were few observation like providing towel a,tissue and dental kit and also feedback on the food. Hopefully they will take this in good spirit and this will not be an issue when I visit again.
