“I had a medical emergency and had to cancel. They never refunded the 20k plus amount that I paid in full. I was supposed to go there to celebrate my daughter's birthday but my Father in law had a stroke like event and was admitted in the hospital on same days for which I had to cancel. Despite mentioning that I would share reports as proof, they swallowed the whole 20k without shame and without even consideration.”

“I have been to Golden palms for many corporate events for both day outs and resort stay since 2008. But the recent one on Jan 2026 with family stay really made me think I made a wrong decision staying at Golden palms. Here are the reasons, 1. Pathetic response to the enquiries you post. No call, just keep chatting on watsup 2. Hospitality really sucks. No proper welcome, no greetings and no warm welcome. Just handover an evolp writing the room number, that's the check-in process they have! 3. They don't keep the inhouse guest informed about any outdoor events happening specially with loud music which is disrespecting the guest and their private stays at the resort. 4. The room we were staying had a water flow noise continuously, the balcony door lock was broken, even the Delux room looks worst than a standard room 5. When it comes food, i was surprised to see no starters were kept for both lunch and dinner. Just a Main course of any one style could be south, north, kerala or what ever so just have to go for it!y lunch was Kerala style and Dinner Karnataka rice and Rasam along with some desserts”

“We went as a froup for corporate outing.. Rooms were spanky clean and awsome.. Food was very poor. Location is convenient... Once you enter property looks awsome with huge pool and other facilities but maintenance is zero. You can see dust, spider webs and cocktoaches everywhere. If maintenance is improved ideal location for corporate and weekend family outings”

“Horrible service and pathetic staff. We were been promised good room were given room with bad stinking bathroom with leakage. Sense of security is missing we’re Nizam at the reception allocated room to my family next to place we’re the crowd was extremely irresponsible as our door was knocked 3 times by drunked crowd and no action was taken. When we asked to check us out and refund at the same night we were assured that we will be allocated better room next morning. Which didn’t happen and we’re not allocated room with different reasons and there was no sense of ownership to resolve the issue and did not care of customer experience which is shocking I strongly suggest team to action on the staff as after paying heavy Tariff we were given service of local lodge. I would never recommend anyone to visit this place again and would like to blog about the experience for people to be aware. This is the worst experience I have ever had.”

Janet Mascarenhas★★★★★The location and rooms are decent. We arrived late evening and it was peaceful till the next morning where we felt we were in a Mela. Literally! There was some association gathering that weekend and they had their event out in the open. The sound was so loud and it went on ALL day! Having events is great but not at the cost of someone else’s discomfort. I’m quite surprised that the management did not have the common sense to mitigate the sound. If this is what they wanted then shut the resort down please! People pay and come from long distances to relax and not be disturbed or annoyed!!! Never booking this place again! Worst experience ever!

There are worms coming out of the wash basin, which is unacceptable, especially considering we are staying in room 225 with an 8-year-old child. Given the price we are paying, we expect a comfortable stay with basic hygiene standards met. I have attached videos for reference and reserve the right for a compensation

The overall service is extremely poor — guests are often left chasing after staff just to place an order or get served. The servers frequently ignore guests, likely due to being overworked and understaffed, something even the staff openly admit. Room service comes with an additional charge for every single order, which quickly adds up and feels unreasonable. The front desk staff lack basic hospitality skills and do not make guests feel welcome. Despite being advertised, the spa and fitness center have been closed indefinitely under the pretext of renovations. Unfortunately, there is no transparency about this in advance. The pricing for both accommodation and food is far from justified given the quality of service and facilities offered. The sales team paints an overly positive picture and withholds critical information — only once you arrive do you realize the reality, which feels deceptive. This property may have had potential in the past, but it's no longer worth the price or the hassle. A

But you can have good vegetarian (even across Indian cusine , forget about fusion). Why is everything taste like sugary and low quality now? 2. Party vibes: This was a great place to relax with a bit of mocktails on the side of pool. Dont know what that got knocked off. 3. Spa: Message is a beautiful thing. And always respectable. I had my first first massage in the resort. Absolutely professional folks. My last visit left me jarred. I cry what happened to this amazing place. Advice to management 1 Please define your target customer. If a Vegetarian like me doesnt fit your persona, then be it. But please be clear who you want to attract 2. Please think about cusine, chef and restaurant and party space.

The food quality was poor, and the rooms were infested with mosquitoes, making the stay very uncomfortable. However, the most frustrating part was the complete mismanagement when it came to billing. We were issued an incorrect invoice, and despite multiple follow-ups, the resort staff kept delaying with excuses — promising to send the corrected invoice "within an hour," which never happened. Even after finally receiving the invoice days later, the details were still wrong for both me and my colleagues from Belgium. They were understandably disappointed and surprised by such poor service standards, which reflects badly on hospitality expectations in India. When we followed up again, the resort claimed they did not have internet access — an unacceptable excuse for any professional establishment today. As of now, we are still waiting for a correct invoice. Overall, very poor management, lack of accountability, and a total failure in basic guest services. I strongly advise others to cons

When we checked in, we discovered that a wedding was taking place, and the hotel staff completely ignored us. There was no warm welcome, no offer of a welcome drink, not even a glass of water. The reception area was chaotic, overcrowded, and food items were carelessly scattered around. We had booked two rooms, but they weren’t allocated to us on time. The bathrooms were extremely unclean, and there was no hot water for bathing. For the high price we paid, we expected at least basic amenities, but the hotel failed to meet even those. My suggestion to the hotel management is simple: if you want to host large weddings, please avoid taking bookings from smaller families, as you clearly lack the resources to manage both effectively. To anyone planning a stay at this resort, I strongly advise reconsidering your decision. This experience was far below acceptable standards.

Don't know what management has guided the staffs. 1) rooms are smelly and inside the bathroom every where fungus are there. Not maintained well. 2) paying a huge amount and service is as slowest. 3) people are so casual while taking orde r and taking 60-70min for an order. 4) it's vegetarian resort .you can't order non veg food. It's only available in buffet and that too 1-2items. 5) in the indoor games.they have squash, badminton,tt and pool. And which are always occupied by people as they have only one of each . 6) the check in time is 2pm but the room was not ready.they gave room at 4 4:30pm. But while check out they called at sharp 11am.(But we didn't as we got the room late we didn't listen to them) Point is the such a good and huge property.they don't have staffs that much to maintain it well and the currently present staffs are very casual. Only good think is pool which I can rate3.5 out of 5 .

The banquet manager counted literally the number of plates used as the number of people. As if a person can not take 2 different plates to eat. Then he charged us at that exact moment. This was the worst experience we as a team have had till date. Do not recommend to anyone.
