“Zero Stars for Broken Promises and Stressful Scam Despite booking **two deluxe rooms well in advance** for our family and repeatedly seeking confirmation, the staff kept assuring us, "Don't worry, we have confirmed your booking." However, upon arrival at the peak time after a long and tiring day, we were told, There is no room left This is completely unacceptable and ruined the start of our trip. At 8:00 PM, we were left with literally nothing, stranded in a new place with **two young children**. The stress and irritation were immense. After a frustrating conversation, the absolute best they could "manage" was squeezing six of us into a **small, inadequate bamboo room with a useless washroom**. This was a ridiculous downgrade from the deluxe rooms we reserved Do not trust their confirmations There is virtually no ambience; it is just a few rooms and a single restaurant. The whole experience felt like a scam designed to overbook and leave guests stranded.”

Extremely high prices in restaurant for below average food. Paid 5k for a cramped up room, never book if you are traveling with kids. Ruined the holiday mood.”

“At Hippie First, we initially contacted the landowner about the rooms, and he assured us they were available. However, when we arrived, they told us all the rooms were booked due to Holi. I called the owner and asked, “What kind of nonsense is this? Yesterday, you told us the rooms were available!” The worst part was the staff—they behaved like rowdies and goons. Even as men, we didn’t feel safe there, so we would never recommend this place for couples or women. Their behavior was extremely rude, and they showed no sense of responsibility. After waiting for an hour, the owner finally responded, saying, “I thought you called me at night and would only stay for a night before checking out in the morning.” Who would pay ₹2,500–₹3,000 per room just to stay for a single night under such conditions? When I asked what the next option was, they offered us dormitory rooms and said they would charge per person. We asked to see them, and the moment I entered, I felt sick—the place was filthy, the beds were covered in bedbugs, and the entire room was in a disgusting state. I literally vomited. I would never visit this place again.”

Avinash Naidu N★★★★★had a very unpleasant stay at this place . The room was in poor condition and not properly maintained. The washroom was extremely dirty, unhygienic, and had a bad smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. Cleanliness is a basic expectation in any hotel, and unfortunately, this place failed badly in that aspect. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this place to anyone . Service in the restaurant was also horrible . If u visiting hampi stay away from this place .

Shatrugna Ram★★★★★Probably one of the worst cafe you can visit in the area. Let me explain: We stayed here 2 nights where you will have to heat hot water from a gas cylinder and carry it urself if you are a bath person. In the morning around 8 we ordered chai/tea, the incharge went out at 10 to buy milk, that's how bad the service is. You will not get most of the items in the menu they present, whatever you get is more like fruit salad which has only one fruit and tomatoes (!), over priced curd in the name of raita that sort. Highly unrecommend this place and request you to refrain from spending your valuable time

Food options were average, and service was slow. Not the peaceful Hampi experience one would expect. Needs better management and cleanliness.

We booked this place one month in advance through Booking.com and also paid an advance directly to the owner to confirm our stay from 13–15 January. Despite this, just a week before our visit, they told us our booking was given to someone else and asked us to stay in a tent instead. The owner stopped responding completely. Although the manager returned the advance, the staff behavior was ridiculous and careless, with no apology or responsibility. This place cannot be trusted. Avoid booking unless you want last-minute cancellations and ruined plans.

Utkarsh Bellad★★★★★Our stay at Hippi Land, Hampi was unfortunately below average. The property is not suitable for families and feels overpriced for the quality of accommodation provided. The rooms lacked basic comfort and ambiance. The beds were of very poor quality, and water seepage was visible in multiple areas of the room, which made the stay uncomfortable. Overall maintenance and upkeep appear to be neglected. While the location has potential, the experience does not justify the tariff charged. There are much better accommodation options available in and around Hampi that offer better comfort and value for money. Prospective guests are advised to explore alternative stays before booking this place, especially if traveling with family.

Eshwar B S★★★★★What you people are doing, Enri stay nimdu Guys we had a disgusting experience from this stay owner and manager, they are so irresponsible they themselves dont have a coordination within themselves- we had booked our stay and they gave our stay to someone else and when we called them asking the status of our stay they said they had given our stay to someone else and they said they would refund our amount when we booked our stay before a month from booking.com and then due to this people we were the one who were in loss.
