Sassha surf school, hostel

2 of us took the 3 days surfing course at Sasha. Before the start: There was no communication from there side, on what to carry and when was the class. We had to call them ourselves to confirm. We got a call from their side just 5 minutes before we were about to reach about where were we. Surfing experience: we did learn about how to surf on the first day. But the next 2 days it just felt like we rented the surfboards from them and they were then just telling us to go whenever a good wave came. There was just a 5 minute brief on the 3rd day about waves, but no one told us or made us practice on how to catch them. 2 hour classes: They claim that the class is going to be 2 hour long, but it wasn't on any of the 3 days. Plus, the instructors were surfing themselves in between. They told us that there was a break and literally took away our surfboards with them. On the 3rd day It atleast happened twice for a good half an hour. We ourselves struggled with getting the surf-board to the ocean, and saw others going through it, but they never guided us on the right way to do it or helped us to do it. Their instructors were great at surfing, and displayed that as well. But this was not

I spent two days here last week as a solo traveler and it was exactly the reset I needed. Even though I came alone but I never felt lonely. Instructors were very patient and clear in making us understand the fundamentals of surfing. I was able to pop-up and catch waves by the end of day two. Had a great time and met some truly amazing people. The trainers and property manager were exceptional; warm, approachable, and thoroughly professional throughout. All of them are extremely passionate about surfing, and it made the entire experience all the more amazing! A special shoutout as well to the cook, who prepared delicious meals and took the time to personally check with each person to make sure they enjoyed them. The entire team’s care and attention really stood out. Will definitely visit again!
