The roamway which i used to love sadly seems it degrading Washrooms are not clean No tissue papers Jet are not working Front staff argues Paying 800 per person for the room of 8 for this? Super overpriced. I recommend to book a hotel instead if you are 2 or more will get better service.

⚠️ Bedbug ⚠️ I got horrible experience by bitten from the bed bug. However, the hostel(a young woman manager) says that it is only my fault because one only reason that the other guest doesn't got bitten. She said like this. "It is your fault because it came with you from your trip. Why you keep saying to us? We clean everyday." And they keep saying it is only my fault. It doesn't matter who brought the bed bug here, but I genuinely saw the bed bug and took photo. I show them the proof of existence of bed bug. However, they insisted that it is not their fault because they cleaned well. She didn't showed any apologies. At last she did not approve their fault of having bed bug, but insist it is not their fault although it came out from their hostel, especially on the top of the bed. She said there are no reviews about bedbugs. That's why the hotel doesn't have any fault. However, I found the review who wrote one month ago. Therefore, I'm writing this review again. It was not my fault, and although she didn't know who brought the bedbug, she keep insisted that it was my fault. Just by guessing, she kept insisted like that. Her attitude made me really upset. ++The other manager

I would not recommend staying there. First reason: they found bed bugs in one of the dorm during my stay . I don’t think that just treating one dorm was enough to get rid of them. Also, it is not very clean. The staff taking care of the cleaning uses the same cloth to wipe the floor and the kitchen counter . We where each of us on turns washing it since it was smelly and very dirty . Once we bought one and it disappeared. It is not a fully furnish kitchen, there was no ustensiles and we ended up buying them . There is only one electric stove for one pot . Some girls had arrange a ride for a day , then got pressured to pay more … a scam or something , so they left the hostel that night . Someone had booked a private room… when she arrived she was told she would be sharing . One of the dorms doesn’t have AC… very hot even in winter .The cleaners keeps on cleaning the leafs out side , they make the clothes fall from the dryer … they live it there .I met very nice people there but the hostel is not clean and when we try to ask management , nothing is done to help . They don’t seem to care . Would need proper trained staff for cleaning . There is also a lot of local travellers in and ou

The owner had posted for volunteering in insta page and with 1 month minimum stay but on reaching the owner say he needs minimum commitment of 3 month. Total fraud and unethical person he is. There are better hostel in Mysore with great vibes. Please stay away from this property.

In the Instagram post for volunteering it was mentioned for minimum one month stay. On reaching from a very far away place. The owner lucky mentioned that he needs minimum 3 month commitment of stay and for food they will give ₹ 3000 for a month that is rs 100 for a day. He basically needs a person to work the comunity manager job profile for free. Stay away from freeloader people. There are better stay options in Mysore.

It is not what it. used to be is my biggest issue, I think if im not wrong the outhouse that was used by maids before is converted into a room now and a very small one, not for 2 people. The life of the hostel which I used to love is not there anymore. It has moved towards more of a maintain and earn rather than give the travellers a great experience which was there before. By no means I say that this hostel is bad, but I am just sad that you can no longer experience it the way it was before. To me Mysore meant Roambay I have never stayed anywhere else 5-6 times I visited the city. But will have to look for newer options for the next one :(

Strictly does not recommend for a family.. They have a double room which they tell u to accomodate a family of three but actually its too small and they dont even have a double mattress in the so called double room. Not a good experience..

Me and my friend stayed in a four sharing dorm. Anyway. Service (People are friendly) is excellent.. the hall or the common room is really good.. A big TV is there but only works if you are carrying ur own laptop. However there are few catches.. will come back to that All the places are nearby- Mysore palace- 3 km max Zoo- 6-8 max Church- 2-3 km Brindavan garden- 22 km (but the road is excellent) Chamundi hill- 12 km Surrounding of the hostel is really good. Zomato and blinkit works (but make sure order it within 2 am) Local shops close by 10 pm max (10.30 sometimes) Now few negative points to highlight 1. If you’re coming with friends and want to drink and smoke.. then it’s a OOPPSS! Not possible.. that’s not allowed at the common area. (For that you have to go the garden, which is mostly surrounded with lot of mosquitoes). So, if you’re coming here with late night plans, I would suggest stay away 2. The room in which we stayed, bit congested and the locks were not that great. There is no mirror inside the room and also there is no attached washrooms 3. There is no food service available 4. It’s a strict no non-veg inside the kitchen, if u want to cook veg food, you’re we
