“Honest review after staying there last Friday. Starting with the stay location, is very pathetic and challenging.. Stay is located off road for 1 kms from main road where jeeps occupy the complete road to Jhari falls . It’s full of mud road and you have to drive very carefully else ur car will have bad impact . I have seen many reviews mentioning challenges in the road and when I asked the Owner, he said they have made road easy for cars but it’s absolutely pathetic. Climbing down is easy somehow but climbing up is even more pathetic. When we reached stay @5 pm , no one was there to even acknowledge us . Finally one guy was inside kitchen who’s the cook come helper . Whatever we requested, nothing was taken care by them… coming to food , it’s an only thing where we felt , the money paid was somehow worth as the cook made good food and chicken items . Room was very neat and clean but power gone off for entire night . Since climate is chill, we could manage but owner did not have UPS or back up power . There are no lights around the stay too which is difficult in the night time especially after power cut. Morning breakfast was prepared with previous day left out food and additional p”

“Adventurous and at the same time terrific experience altogether. Dinner was great , morning breakfast average as prepared with previous night left out food . Cook was helpful but no hot water in room and no wifi as mentioned in the amenities which was informed in prior . Main drawback is the off road drive from main road to resort where the jeeps uses the mud road to drive down to jhari falls. If kids are there , need to be very careful as no fencing and no lights in the night . We had to leave early since jeeps will start coming down to falls and they won't let you climb up. You have to literally drive slowly in the mud road off 1km else car down will get hit. Overall location is awesome but this place needs more improvement. No network and was difficult to make phone calls and use internet.. One more problem is the jhari falls is almost 2 kms and above but owner said 500m walkable which is not acceptable.”

Thiagu Rajendiran★★★★★Should have read previous reviews but lesson learned. No doubt the views were awesome, but the biggest and most important concern was access to homestay. As other reviewers stated, the road is very dangerous and almost impossible to drive if it is raining. Jeeps running to Jhari falls crowd the entire road, and you have to wait hours to pass through them if you are brave enough to drive your own vehicle or ride in one of the jeep. Either way, after a tedious journey to this place, we end up staying there and not going anywhere due to access problems. Rooms are average, pepper chicken was good, and the rest of the food items are below average. No wifi, and poor to no signal other than BSNL ! Avoid if you are planning to stay with family ! Fun stay for singles or group of friends. The owner said he complained to Chikmagalur tourism to pave the road, but not sure if that happens anytime soon.

Swetha shree★★★★★Worst homestay , no proper food they took 1200per person , we were 14 ppl, ..there is no proper hot water ...for getting one bucket we waited 1/2hour. After waiting this time , food was belo average .. Bedsheets were worst .. they told that they send jeep ride once we reach but later out vehicle should go inside it.. PLS do not make mistake to go to this homestay seeing mountain view.. road to stay is more dangerous if u r taking own vehicle...no signals....rooms are conjusted ..we went prev weekend...there are many homestay with good food.. these ppl gave two plates of snacks for 14 ppl...who the hell does this... pls do not book this homestay

Anitha Rajan★★★★★We had been there recently for a two days trip. We faced a hard time to find the exact location. To reach the place you have to go for an off road driving. The rooms are clean but not ideal for family or couples. The food is nice, they will prepare as per our convenience but the cost is bit high for that service. Camp fire service is there but if some other guests are there then you will not get that facility, they will occupy it... No network and no wifi.. we got wifi for 5 minutes and then no network, they said it will fix within 10 minutes and then no update till we checkout. The location is nyc but the surroundings are not kept clean. There is enough space for them to arrange some activities but nothing is there. There is a waterfall which is around in 2.6km but when we asked they said it's in 300m away. That's a good waterfall you can enjoy there if nothing else works.. once you reach there you can enjoy the beauty of hill side view and waterfall , apart from that there is nothing to enjoy...

It is not easy to go and come back by car in mud road and very dangerous . Family cannot stay there and don't recommend to stay. Service has to be improved lot to satisfy customers and all are fake promises. No power in the night.

The hotelier said the rooms are not available as shown in the MMT. Got the worst room. The place is remote didn't have option to cancel and had to suffer.
