We had the worst stay of our lives at Krishna Villa. We had booked this place seeing all the positive reviews online but don't know for what people have commented this much. The stay is not at all worth the high price we are charged. Even normal meal is priced exorbitantly. Rooms are not clean, not sure if they have changed bedsheets as we saw multiple hair on them. They were threads coming from bath towels and they will stick on u. Ac water was leaking and making floor wet. There are no mirrors in room. Worst of all, our bathroom was outside our room and u can imagine how difficult it is to manage that. The pipes are all rusted and there is no proper water flow. Hot water comes very little and we saw chunks of dirt coming through pipes. Worst stay ever. Had we haven't paid full amount, we would have left the very first day from here. Only good thing is hospitality by the staffs and good location of the place, nothing else is worth about this place.

Rooms are large and clean. Very close to badami caves in the city centre. But pricing of the rooms are high and not worth it. No facilities such as kettle, hair dryer ,refrigerator etc given for the price. We were here on a weekend and the room price was 2500 with breakfast. We received room with 2 double beds and bathtub(which isn’t in working condition) Staff are very nice and humble. Food tastes good too. But they should use less oil in the curries and other food as it caused us both diarrhoea because of too much oil. If the price is this high , better include all the amenities. Only AC, tv and hot water and breakfast was included. Extra ₹ 500 for late check out in the evening was charged But no bill is given for the same. No swimming pool at this property. Easy to catch bus from badami to bangalore (300 mtrs walking distance for the pick up point)

I do not know why people have given more than 4 stars, which deceived me into booking this online. It is not worth the price. We have given 5400 rs for a large room which accommodates 4 persons and another 1000 rs for early check-in.. which was not worth it. its price will be ok for less than 1000 per day. Only one person [who doesn't know Kannada] is there to take care of the building which has hardly 3-4 rooms and the service is pathetic. The AC was not working and the rooms were not clean. The food available is very limited has 2-3 varieties only. Location doesn't matter in a small town like Badami.

Was given a small room with not so clean washroom which had to be changed & took a suite. However the washroom in the suite was outside the room which was a drawback. The room did not have a mirror which was difficult to dress up. Food was ordered earlier for mixed veg which was not made but were just given potato, peas curry with cabbage. The whole place though spacious was not very clean Had read good reviews but found it a tad disappointing 😞

This place is somewhere in between a homestay and hotel - with good aspects of both. The place has a huge courtyard where you can dine as well as pass time playing on the carrom board which they have. There are only two care takers who handle everything including making food, which they make in a very homely manner which is light on your tummy. The only negative aspect is the filthy road on which they are situated - with pigs and dirty water. But that is a Badami municipality issue in general.

My stay of July 2022 was very pleasant and full credit goes to the staff who dealt with me. Mr. Kuldeep, Manager, right from booking stage and till the end of my stay, gave me excellent support in many ways. As a frequent solo senior citizen traveler , such smiling support means a lot to me. Sadanand , the other staff and cook , I dealt with, was also very very nice. The food was really refreshing home type fresh. The premises always clean. Any small problem if reported, was promptly attended.||||But yes, Badami town surroundings were a disappointment. The location though very convenient, the town municipality needs to do a lot of work to clean the town, move the roaming pigs, cover the open dirty smelling drains, make vendor proper arrangements. The beautiful cave temples of Badami deserve a better town. Badami cave temples, is a "MUST SEE". Tourists will increase if the town is made clean.||||Krishna Villa, cannot be blamed for the town matters. The stay at Krishna Villa was very very good thanks to Mr Kuldeep, Sadanand and all who worked in background.||||My limited dealings on phone with the MD was also very good.||THANK YOU KRISHNA VILLA. Food: 1/5 This hotel provides a complimentary breakfast with the stay. However, the options for breakfast is very limited. During our stay we were given the choice between bread and jam, and poha (avalakki) with hot beverages like coffee or tea. Room: 3/5 If you, like us, plan to use badami as a stop over, then the rooms are decent enough for a night's stay at this place. However, please note that room number 102 has a bathroom whose ventilation leads to the dinning room. This means that anyone passing by, if peeped, could see the bathroom. Therefore, this is completely removes the privacy of the bathroom. So, we had to close the window provided for it and bear the consequences of the air being stuck within the bathroom. The room has required amount of sockets for charging electronics. They provide you with 2 quantities of 500ml water bottles as well as towels. The bathroom has a geyser through which you can use hot water either from the tap of shower. Location of the Hotel: 3/5 The hotel is situated inside a small street and one needs to be watchful while driving in this street as the signboard for this hotel is put in a moderately sized board. What hit me hard was the fact that he said " आप ने MMT se book किया तो ऐसे ही milega". Later he realized his mistake and tried to make up. Overall a good property that needs proper management.

Pooja & Hema are very friendly but the overall experience and care were missing from the supervisor I would recommend the owner to look into things and customer experience for charging a hefty amount for mediocre stay

Krishna villa can be considered if you don’t have any choices. Unfortunately, Badami has few options and aren’t good. Krishna villa is average in terms of cleanliness, food options but has ample parking space. Breakfast options were limited to poha, bread jam and tea/coffee for the price paid.

Staff is really polite humble and cooperative. We have reached hotel by 10pm but they have not taken food and waited for us. Provide nice hot food. Rooms are ok. Badami is not a clean city at all.
