“We stayed here last weekend, opting for a budget-friendly package. While the rooms were decent for the price, a few key issues made the experience underwhelming. Rooms & Facilities: The room was okay, but the bathroom doors didn’t have proper locks — likely due to swelling of the wooden doors in the damp weather. It became inconvenient with family, as someone always had to stand guard when the bathroom was in use. Food: Meals were basic — for example, Veg Biryani for dinner and Lemon Rice for breakfast. No starters, no dessert, nothing beyond the bare minimum. For the price we paid, it didn’t feel like value for money. Service & Experience: We thought of checking out after the first day, but the owner refused any refund for the second day, claiming he had turned down other bookings. However, all the other rooms were empty, so that felt unconvincing. On the second morning, we requested to adjust the pending food charges with the unused breakfast (since we were checking out early), but that was denied too. The owner’s attitude was rigid and not customer-friendly. Overall, while the place can work for a quick budget stay, don’t expect flexibility or service-oriented hospitality. ”

“We stayed here for 3 nights, and the experience was absolutely horrible. Please read before booking: 1. Unhygienic Rooms – The room was extremely dirty, bedsheets were stained, and there was no mirror or even a dustbin provided. 2. Broken Facilities – The door lock was broken, making it unsafe. 3. Roof Leakage & Fungus – Rainwater leaked from the roof, walls were damp, and there was visible fungus. 4. Very Dirty Toilet – The toilet was extremely unclean and unhygienic, making it very uncomfortable to use. 5. No Proper Water Supply – In the morning there was no water at all. Later, the staff gave us rainwater to use, which was clearly unsafe and very infectious. 6. Pests Everywhere – Leeches, cockroaches, and insects all around the room and bathroom – extremely unhygienic. 7. Worst Food Experience – Food served was very insufficient for a group, the taste was terrible, and portions were too small. 8. False Promises – The facilities and food quality told to us during booking were completely different from what we actually got. 9. The food was bad and unhygienic, the toilets were dirty and poorly maintained, and the overall atmosphere was very uncomfortable. The people managing the place were unhelpful and rude, which made the experience even worse. We felt unhappy and unsafe throughout our stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone. And worst swimming pool

Location: Very close to the waterfalls and Gali Kere – a great advantage if you're planning to explore the area. --- Areas That Need Serious Improvement: Room Layout: Rooms are packed with beds, clearly aimed at accommodating maximum people. There's barely any free space, making it feel congested and uncomfortable. Swimming Pool: The pictures are self-explanatory – I’ll leave it to your judgment. Food: While the taste is decent, the variety is disappointing, especially for the price. For instance, Sunday dinner was just veg pulav and raita – that’s it! (Photo attached.) TV in Room: The TV exists, but again, check the photo – it speaks volumes. Tea Policy: Only one small paper cup of tea is served per person per day. Anything extra? You have to pay. First time I've come across such a policy in a homestay. Bathroom Issues: Our room was meant for 7 people, yet the bathroom door couldn’t be closed properly. Tiles were broken, taps were loose

No water in the morning – staff gave us rainwater to use! Food was insufficient and tasteless, pests (leeches & cockroaches) everywhere, and staff were unresponsive. Roof leakage, fungus on walls, and a very disturbing atmosphere made it unbearable. Highly NOT recommended – think twice before booking.
