Extremely Disappointing Experience – Overpriced, Poor Service and Lack of Basic Amenities I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights through the MakeMyTrip app. Due to a minor booking selection error, I selected 1 person per room. However, the room category clearly stated “Max 2 persons per room,” and the price shown was the same whether it was 1 or 2 guests. Upon arrival, the front desk demanded an additional 1,500 INR per room per night for the second person. This charge is unreasonable and excessive, especially since we did not request an extra bed or breakfast. The staff insisted that the extra payment automatically includes breakfast because it is “management policy.” We never asked for breakfast. We simply wanted a clear explanation as to why we were being forced to pay such a high amount without receiving any meaningful additional service. When we asked to speak with the manager, the manager refused to speak with us and told the staff that there was “nothing to discuss” because it is a rule. No explanation. No willingness to communicate. No accountability. That level of disregard toward guests is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. We were basically given two options: cancel w

I booked this hotel for a relaxing New Year's stay, paying 50% more for a premium suite to ensure high-quality time. The room lacked a mini fridge, despite it being listed in the booking amenities—something standard in nearly all Indian hotels, especially at ₹6,000 per night. Staff also charged ₹40 per liter for chilled water, limited regular water to 2 liters daily (with unreliable refills), and failed to provide the WiFi password at check-in, requiring a trip back to reception. A receptionist later insisted on a mandatory ₹4,000 per person fee for the 31st night program, unmentioned in the terms despite my booking 120 days ahead; we argued to waive it. Breakfast options were limited. Much lesser option than other hotels in india. No live counter for vegetarian food. They are serving high sugar bottled beverages like tang and frooti in the name of juice during breakfast. I was literally like what the hell is going on here?? Tea also tasted below average. Parantha was poorly cooked. Poha had 0 salt content. Food was average. Food served by giner and spice restaurant was below average. They gave stale chilli chicken and burnt the tandoori chicken. This place is honestly awful .I wouldn’t even give it one star. The staff and the manager have zero customer care or hospitality. We booked two double rooms for 2 nights for 4 people, no breakfast, for 15000 Rs. Pretty expensive, but every other hotel was full so we had no choice. Then there was a booking mess: normally one room fits two people, but by mistake we seems booked only fit ONE person. They charged an extra 1,500 Rs per person, saying it was because breakfast would be included. But the extra breakfast was only for the people paying the extra fee ,like seriously?!? who wants breakfast for only 2 people while the other 2 get nothing? We asked to just pay the extra occupancy fee without breakfast, but nope, they refused. Had to pay the full 1,500 Rs anyway. We asked to talk to the manager, and the manager didn’t even bother to show up or help fix anything. Just hid behind “hotel policy.” The staff couldn’t care less either. In the end, we paid 21,000 Rs to stay here. The hotel is old, staff are terrible, and the room had no fridge, no hair dryer, and super thin blankets. The amenities were basic, bedsheets were dirty, the balcony was covered in bird poop, and the view wa

I stayed at Tea three Suits Manipal and had a very disappointing experience. I had clearly booked a queen bed, but they did not provide one; instead, they joined two single beds, which was extremely uncomfortable and irritating to sleep on.[hartrans] The TV was practically useless, as there was not even a single free channel to watch, so it felt like the TV was just for namesake. There was also no minibar or even a basic fridge in the room, despite being promised that there would be one, which added to the frustration. The staff’s attitude was also very “don’t care” and unhelpful, which made the overall stay even worse. For the amount they charge, they really need to maintain proper standards, which was absolutely not the case during my stay.

I had a very pleasant stay during my first Business Trip. But they made a joke out of me when I tried to book this hotel when my boss visited my territory. I made a reservation one day before and they even gave a reservation confirmation. But they gave out the room to someone else. Then they called me again and said that room are available. Again they called and said that the room got booked online. Imagine your situation infront of your boss. Bunch of idiots these guys.

We went to the in-house ginger restaurant, and it was a terrible experience. Firstly the the staff was not helpful. We are vegetarian and we ordered Broccoli malai tikka and they served us Chicken Malai tikka, after the wrong order arrived we repeatedly asked them is it veg and they answered yes it is veg. Finally when the food was served in the plate we discovered it is chicken. God knows what type of staff they have hired who can't differentiate between broccoli and chicken. This is unacceptable they can't play with our Dharma by feeding a vegetarian chicken. And just escape playing blame game. We strictly don't recommend vegetarian to enter the restaurant of this hotel and they will make a fool out of you.😡😡😡

Management is very rude and specially the General Manager who very rude and shouting on call.Does not has the courtesy to speak with the customers. The booking representative misguided us before booking and start charging more after the booking was done.we were told that the person who had misguided us about the valley facing room has left the job and now we would have to pay extra money to upgrade the room.Had a very bad experience while booking and would definitely not suggest to others.

Such a worst place to stay. No room services. Restaurants take order and forgets. If you plan to stay than fix up your mind that you won’t get a room service at all.

Worst experience and I would say "0" stars and stay away from this place. Let me describe the issues we had during our stay: 1) Staffs are from other states so they have no idea about Udupi or restaurant. For example, we ordered "hot milk" during dinner and the restaurant people doesn't know what it is. They called their captain, he came, listened to us and then translated in Hindi on what it is! 2) We also asked about Udupi temple darshan timings. To my surprise, no one had any clue - being in Udupi, they didn't even at what time the temple opens/closes. 3) Stay away if you are a pure vegetarian as they make omelet inside the dining area when the AC is on. We had a bad smell and tough time to eat food so asked if we can place 1 table outside of dining area. Again, no assistance was provided, we had to take food from buffet out for breakfast. 4) And here is the worst part, they charged 500 INR for a bathroom towel arguing it had "yellow" stains. This was because we use turmeric powder for bathing which will go away after 1 wash when you put the cloth in the hot sun. This is common sense but people are primarily focused on getting the money from the customer. Ofcourse, we can pay i

A week back We were travelling as a family and requested a check-in just an hour early and they said they will charge extra and told me that if we book through makemytrip (the price through the website was way lesser), they will not accept the request for early check-in. When we requested with the Front desk lady Priyanka she behaved very rudely and arrogantly, She was showing the some personal frustation to with guest which is very unprofessional…

I made a booking at this hotel for two days, but after checking in, I had to cancel the second day due to a medical emergency. Despite explaining my situation, the hotel management refused to refund the second night. The booking platform confirmed that the hotel management declined any refund. This experience felt like absolute fraudulent behavior from the hotel. I would advise others to beware before booking here, as they do not seem to care about guests' emergencies or fairness. Extremely disappointing and frustrating."

Untill the last visit we got good service here... By mistake ly one tea cup and saucer was broken and for which they charged 600 first and then reduced to 350 after doing some arguments with the management. We ended up paying 350. And then at the time of checking out, they also tried to pay the charges for stain on the bed shit which was very small... Really horrible experience it was... Request all check before visiting here.. common man cannot pay their all penalties... Think before doing booking here
