Went for lunch and the quality of food was sub standard. Pasta was not cooked, soup was sour and so was the paneer starter. Really disappointed with food. Only good part was paneer handi. Good view of the lake but very bad food

A very luxurious hotel at a fraction of a cost. I was really surprised while booking that we are getting such a luxurious hotel at such low price. I was even more surprised when I came to know that it was managed by the Taj group. We choose this hotel as a pit stop for our journey from Goa to Bangalore to spend the night. We reached in the evening and found there was only one person handling at the reception but the number of guests were more waiting to check in. The reception area was understaffed and needed more people to handle the crowd. After much delay we were handled over the room key. The room interior was spacious enough, well maintained and clean. But the bathroom floor and balcony was found unclean. Given the low price I had paid for this hotel I would not complain too much about it but its not what you expect of a Taj group of hotels. While the main swimming pool was large and clean enough surprisingly I found the kids pool dirty. The buffet at the restaurant was large enough and had enough variety for both your eyes and stomach. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other and looking forward to go back there when i am in Hubli again.

So far I did not understand why the front desk gave me two beds when we checked in as couple. Since we checked late and check out late space on left side of the bed too small for humans to stand. Food seems fine.
