Extremely Poor Management & Zero Responsibility Towards Students Alva’s College management has become one of the worst I have ever seen, especially in the way they treat students and parents. Many members in my family studied here, so I have seen everything closely. They take advantage of the good study environment of Dakshina Kannada and act like they are responsible for it. Recently, my sister was sick for almost 2 months. Hostel staff kept taking her to their own hospital, doing multiple tests, charging heavily, but still she wasn’t getting better. When we requested to take her home for proper treatment, they kept delaying with excuses like “wait till Monday” or “we need MD permission,” even when she had high fever. Only after repeated requests they allowed us to take her home. After home treatment she recovered. But when we asked when to bring her back, again no clarity. They didn’t even inform what documents were required. After reaching the campus, they again demanded tests, made her wait in quarantine, and asked for reports that take 3 days. When we questioned this, they behaved rudely and asked us to write letters taking responsibility “if anyone else falls sick.” This is

Giving one star because no option of zero... Parents if u love your kid and student if want mental stability please avoid going this college...had been here for 8 months after covid in 1st PU and I was fortunate enough to get alive out of there... I've always been a topper and too much studying or pressure of study was never a thing for me to be concerned about...what went wrong..?Reasons? Mentioned below 1. Toxic college environment Just for name sake co-ed if even for a reasonable time if you are found speaking to an opposite gender its more like you've done something wrong. 2. Manufacturing brainless students The teaching staff here has too much toxicity...they only care students who score out of out marks even if 99 you are a criminal...I was class representative and once I scored 98 marks in pre board and the whole period the teacher just kept saying bad things to me for scoring less...And if once you get targeted they take you to the level person has no hope to live...that is the reason many students committed suicides here 3. This is one of the worst colleges I’ve ever come across. Once you're targeted or ask any questions to a lecturer, you’re constantly fined. What kind of system is this? My friend has just started studying there, and I can’t even speak up about it because I’m afraid he has been targeted and fined again. This is not right. Many students are already struggling to pay their tuition fees, and on top of that, the college management keeps collecting money through excessive fines. Please remember—karma does exist. One day, you will have to answer for what you’re doing. The money you are collecting through these fines comes from students and families who are working hard just to afford education. This constant pressure is causing mental stress and depression among many students. Something needs to change.

The worst ssc exam centre ever!!!! System got stuck and had to change seat three times. Time wasted and exam went bad only due to this issue. Also there is no proper board od instructions to get to the exam hall... Have to walk a kilometer to find it. Worst experience ever 😱😱😱

I gave only 1 one review beacuse my brother child has gone this college but he didn't scored good marks .this is the reason why alvas college we don't like and make your children sure that they should not join the college in alvas ,it's not a good college and some students behaving like a rowdism and many of them lost their lives by rowdism and teachers were not correct and many of the students should go in the right path if they don't go the parents have to suffer by their children. Don't join ur kids here...it's one of the worst college worst management and worst hostel system... They are here just to loot parents hard earned money... They will promise many things while taking admission, after taking admission they will start to show real face... They will divide low scoring students n highest scoring students..they will start discrimination with students...any high scoring student will do high score no need of this college. Worst management. From office workers to hostel wardens no one knows how to behave professionally. Holier than thou attitude and unbelievably rude. Unnecessarily strict. Lecturers physically assault students. It's kinda like a prison. Parents usually admit their children here because it is strict. But that ends up taking mental toll on students. No one should have to live in such a suffcated torturous environment just to study. Would never recommend this to anyone. Their teaching is not that great either. You can find another institution that teaches better and doesn't torture students at the same time. The only good thing here was that I had a few amazing teachers.
