First of all, it’s not really a homestay — it’s just a place where rooms are rented out. The owner doesn’t provide his own breakfast or lunch service, and he usually takes guests to different places for breakfast. He also doesn’t live on the property. The rooms aren’t exactly as shown in the photos, though they’re decent enough to stay in for 2–3 days.The owner manages several other properties and also works as a tour guide, so he cannot give full attention to every guest — the same happened with me. During our 3-day stay, he didn’t take care of basic arrangements like changing towels daily or refilling water bottles. The beds were quite noisy and made creaking sounds, and the tap water was yellowish, which wasn’t good at all.He does help arrange taxis, auto-rickshaws, and similar transport, but the fares charged by his contacts are usually higher than what you’d find outside. When we arrived, he told us it wasn’t possible to get a rented scooter because it was peak season. But on the same day, we easily got one from a nearby shop. The best part of the stay is rooms and cleanliness. Please avoid this stay people who are travelling by bikes or car as there is no parking available and vehicles should be parked on road. 1. The stay is on 1st floor, but seem likes everything in ground floor. 2.Owner says the stay is including breakfast but he has tie up with hotel & we need to go to the hotel location. 3.Owner is a vegetarian and he tries or motivate guest to eat Non veg,other parties in balcony as room will starts smelling.

The owner of the property is extremely hospital. He made our stay very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and have enough space to keep your stuff and still move around. The bathrooms have been maintained in spick and span condition. The only issue is with the parking space. Own vehicles are required to be parked in a common space. The property is located very near to tourist attractions. Overall had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Hampi.

Feedback after a recent 2-night stay. We had a warm welcome from Mrs. Setty, as Ashok was unavailable due to some tour arrangements. Ashok is always available to you over call and ready to offer all possible assistance. This homestay is a small setup with convenient access to all visiting places in Hampi. The only concern I had was related to car parking, as you need to place your vehicle in public parking, where family member access might not be comfortable during the late evening. Hospitality and room arrangements are plus points . You can opt breakfast options with homemade snacks. For lunch & dinner, good restaurants are available nearby. I am so thankful a breakfast parcel of yummy idli chutney was made available by Mr. and Mrs. Setty on our return journey at 6:30 in the morning. I wish them both a good journey ahead!
