The owner of this homestay, Akash, ruined our 3 day holiday. Having traveled over 40 countries, I can clearly say that Akash doesn't know how to run a homestay. We never saw the owner even once expect for the first 10 mins when he greeted us. While we were deep asleep on our first day, the neighboring guests rang our doorbell after 11 PM, because the owner asked them to fetch a mattress from our room. This in turn woke up my 2 year old who did not sleep the whole night hence ruining our subsequent day. I was furious, and called the owner who said he is out with this friends and was in no position to speak to me. We had to literally beg for towels which were not provided even 24 hrs after we checked in. We texted the owner several times but he just kept ignoring. We used our clothes as towels. We were ready to go buy towels but this home-stay is at-least 10 kms away from shops. Finally the owner sent towels through someone 24 hrs after our check in. The owner also gave us recommendation for 2 restaurants, both of them closed for renovation. There was absolutely no apology from the owner, not even a single attempt to meet us for the trouble he caused for ruining our holiday, and

The room was very good but the washroom was not good at all. It was stinky and full of stains. Basic necessities were missing like a water bottle or water dispenser, kettle, mugs and basic toiletries. After paying a good amount at least these basic things should have been provided. After requesting for water it was not provided. So the overall experience was okay.. it could have been better.

Rooms are clean, and nice. Its good if you are travelling with kid because they provide kitchen for kid food. Not Happy for booking process. He did not communicate well on room booking. We booked 2 rooms, but he allotted in 2 different building(1 does not belong to him and he did not share the pics of other building while booking) which was not communicated with us while confirming the booking. He gave 1 double room in his building but asked to pay 2+1 changes because while booking we booked 1 room for 2+1 but we should pay for what has been ALOTTED ,not what we booked. Note: Please communicate well before making the booking

The Akash homestay is good place to stay in new humpi which is around 4.5 km from main Hampi town. The parking available is too compact on front of home stay in empty plot. Max it can fit 6 cars. 2 rows , 3 cars per row. The owner is very helpful and guided for different places to visit in Hampi. The ac in room is on good condition. The homestay is covered with CCTV cameras. Near homestay small hotel is available for quick breakfast, lunch and dinner. The wifi in room is superfast(5G). Overall experience was good.

Good homestay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Akash was very helpful and organised a tuc-tuc from the station as well as transport to Old Hampi, he also booked our bus tickets to Mangaluru. All in all a good place to stay.

Great location, clean and well maintained rooms, a few minor issues - the wifi speed was very inconsistent, the tv would lose the connection and had to reconnect everytime we turned it on, there was no towel bar in the bathroom, charging points were a little inconvenient and only 2 points. Minor stuff but akash was very helpful and communicative and the location is great, perfect for a no-frills stay but dont expect any luxuries.
