A good hostel for boys around kankanady. Run by a Muslim community and well taken care of. I'll go pont wise 1- Great food - biryani, chicken curry, kabab, sometimes crab and shells, morning is basic idli, dosa, wada, noodles, poori bhaji For lunch it's always daal chawal with fish or boiled eggs. Daal will be different every day for lunch. 2- safety - All the floors have been installed with camera with 24/7 surveillance. In my 4 year experience I have never came across any thefts. 3- No ragging - everyone in the hostel live like brother and never do a single harm to any new joined person. 4- Rooms - there are three types of rooms available for you. (I) old block costs around 5,500 3,4 sharing room with common bathroom (ii) new block costs around 6,700 here you get attached bathroom with personal cupboard and only 2 sharing (iii) Dormitory which will cost you only 4,500 with common bathroom but 7 sharing. 5- Cleanliness - The building is cleaned everyday sweeping and cleaning. And all the rooms are also cleaned once every week and if you want to clean it more often you can request for that also. 6- Bathroom - as mentioned above it's cleaned everyday and it's never dirty. 7- near by

Nice hostel for Muslim boys. Nice food. But one problem is no hot water for bath. Both attached and without bathroom rooms are available. Afternoon veg and night non veg meal.
