Just 10 km walk to Surabhi Goshale from Shimoga TV Tower early morning of two hours is fresh feel of the day and being with cattles and cows and knowing their activities is an Hardship of their maintenance and administration is a great service to animals and society. The visit is a experience enjoying the cattle culture our land of malnad.

The place is located exactly the road opposite to Shimoga airport. Calm and peaceful. The Goshala is kept very clean. I didn't find any use of plastic covers here. There are nearly 400 cows. You can adopt a cow/calf for a year or more than that. Request everyone to make a small contribution from your side and make this breed sustainable forever. Also, whenever you have any special events, celebrate it here by donating that amount to the welfare of the cows. The staff incharge are very kind and cooperative too.
