“They are completely fraudulent. There are no proper facilities, frequent water and electricity issues, and they increase the rent every month without any justification. They refuse to return the security deposit, and when you ask for it, they threaten you with a legal notice. To make things worse, my belongings were stolen from my room, and when I asked to see the CCTV footage, they outright refused. Absolutely pathetic and ridiculous PG—do not ever consider staying here.”

“I had a worst experience with colive. We booked the property for only 5 days, so we did it via the sales team not from app. So there is no entry in the app against my account due to which I couldn't raise ticket for issues. From the day we entered we didn't get wifi service. Before booking I clearly asked the sales person whether wifi will be there or not as I have to do WFH. He said it will be there. But when we checked in we found that access needs to be given for wifi and the property manager told to check with sales person who did the booking for me. First the sales person responded to my call and told that access will be given shortly. Since then he didn't even bother to respond to my calls and the customer care is very much useless. They have this stupid IVR which will redirect you to nothing. I managed to get hold of the customer person few times and all told to raise ticket in the app and I have to explain repeatedly that I don't have any booking in the app as it was temporary. Each time different customer care person take your call and I have to explain everything from beginning to them. Finally I gave up as I don't want to have mental stress. Food is not that much good an”

“I strongly advise against choosing this hostel. It is nothing short of a SCAM!! Here’s my experience: Unjustified Rent Increases: When I joined, the agreed rent was ₹7,000, but every month, I was forced to pay around ₹10,000 without any valid explanation. Poor Food Quality: The food provided is consistently below average, leaving much to be desired. Water Problems: There are frequent water supply issues, which are never resolved despite repeated complaints. Exorbitant Electricity Bills: Despite only using one light and a fan for around 8 hours a night, I received electricity bills of ₹1,500 every month. Unresponsive Management: Any issues raised with the management are dismissed. They claim it's not their responsibility and blame the maintenance team, which operates via an app. Ineffective Complaint System: Emails and tickets raised through their app are automatically closed without any proper resolution or response. Overall, this hostel is a nightmare. It feels like a deliberate attempt to exploit residents. Avoid this place at all costs!”

Anonymous★★★★★My experience with Colive Athens has been extremely disappointing. In my view, the entire operation feels like a scam, with the business seemingly running on misleading practices. Almost every day, someone can be seen at the reception arguing with the officials over unresolved issues, false promises, or questionable charges. Management appears to have no interest in resolving problems and is only focused on collecting money. What makes it worse is that when someone raises their voice or questions them, they allegedly start threatening residents through calls and emails. The environment feels intimidating, and it feels as if they even rely on local roadside goons to pressure people if things don’t go according to their wishes. Overall, it’s a stressful and unpleasant place to stay, and it genuinely seems like all they want is free money without providing basic service or accountability.

Anish Anand★★★★★One of my worst experiences in entire life getting trapped by Colive scammers. PLEASE BEWARE - they will start becoming irresponsive and start deducting random expenses once you sign the agreement. Every issue will be routed through online request and there is no support from PG owners, quality of food is bad, and every service request (even if you ask for agreement) is a payable expense. Stay cautious. Be aware :)

Yash Birla★★★★★I would not recommend this PG as this guys even don't have basic manners as how to deal with clients. I have even shared screenshot of conversation and this is even before payment or my booking. Just imagine what this guys may end up with if once they receive payment. They are not calling me as per discussed time for 2 to 3 days and expecting me to recieve call any time even when I am in office or in a important meeting. You should definitely not visit or stay in such a place. You may get better options.

The facilities are far from adequate — the food is subpar, and there are frequent water issues, which make daily living highly inconvenient. The most frustrating part is their handling of the security deposit. Even after serving a proper one-month notice, they deduct a significant portion of the deposit without any valid explanation. Worse, the remaining amount is either delayed indefinitely or never returned. Adding to the misery, their customer care is practically non-existent. You won’t get proper support or resolution no matter how much you try to escalate the issue. Overall, my experience with Colive was nothing short of a nightmare. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend looking for other options. Avoid Colive at all costs!

Misleading Rent Information: I was quoted a lower rent during the booking process by their sales representative, but once I moved in, I was charged a significantly higher amount. Despite repeated attempts to contact the representative, I received no response. the management took my mattress without any prior notice or explanation. This act was completely unjustified and felt like an attempt to harass me into leaving the room early. Deposit Refund Issues: I informed the team two months in advance about vacating, but I’m still waiting for my deposit refund. Communication with the staff has been slow and unhelpful, and they don't seem to care about addressing tenant concerns. Unprofessional Manager: The manager, Rajkumar, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He doesn’t know how to speak respectfully to anyone, let alone a woman. Doing fake promises then saying "hamara koi lena dena nahi h iss matter se" ... So sales team has no access to any matter of colive billing team... Sales team will give you discount for 1-2 months in reality but they will say that discount has been applied to your complete stay for 6 months...they gonna lie to you in a way you are trapped.. when you want to check out because of hilarious increment of 6k and with taxes 8k they won't let you leave... Deposit bhool jao.. you won't be getting it back and even if you do you will only get a bare minimum amount back.. service is worst , food is worst, cleaning only happens when you have requested them multiple times... For a shitty service and no amenities they will charge you around 20-21 k... It's better to look at some other PG they are far good in terms of management...

The sales person who did scam is Ladi Udaya and her boss Gautham. The pg is very dirty and unhygienic food with poor service. Also after move in to the pg the sales person would avoid your calls and will give no response after making promises. Here the rent increases in every month. Also even after raising service request it would be of no use. Please don’t come please a scame. I have left the pg. still the settlement is not done.

Poor customer service, will not pick up phone for settlement or any grievances.They will threaten legal action with any payment notices which is very odd. At the end I had to pay unreasonable amount set by them and still no one replied after after the payment. There are a lot of hidden charges and abrupt increase in rents. Not worth you money and peace.
