Worst experience ever. Unhygenic room conditions. Uncleaned corridor areas. Unprofessional staff. No hot water for bath. Unhygenic and used linen on beds. Full of dust everywhere in each corner. Very bad smelling room to extent it triggered Asthama type allergic attack. The room charges were Rs. 5000 per room per night. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights. Total cost was Rs. 20k. And what we got is this worst hotel ever seen from Treebo. Hotel staff changed our room to another room after lot of complaints and it was same. I reached out to Treebo for escalation and they offered to change hotel at night 10 pm which was less than feasible solution. We changed hotel next day offered by Treebo. After painful experience leading to health condition (coughing and allergic cold), Treebo refunded Rs. 2400 after so much of hassle and discussions. The escalation manager kept referring Treebo SOP and policy for his inability to refund. Very poor customer experience with Treebo. We are done with Treebo.

This hotel should not exist. From the outside it looks okay, but all the sheets are stained and stinks. They follow a policy of don't replace the sheets if they don't stink, but all the sheets were stained and they changed our rooms to a different one. This room also had smelly pillows and a torn bedsheet. The Duvet also was stinking. This HOTEL does not change their sheets after a guest leaves, they just keep recycling old sheets. Finally the staff gave me a change of pillows, but in reality he sprayed it with room freshener instead and recycled old pillows. Treebo didn't help us at all regarding this, their duty was to find us a different hotel, but they failed as well. Never book a Treebo property, their support is useless

Disappointed with the stay The hotel was not well-maintained. There was no cleaning service during our stay, no door mat provided, and no proper parking space available. The sound outside room was very loud.. not a baby friendly place Overall, not worth the price — basic facilities were missing and the experience was quite uncomfortable.

What kind of hotel is this ,first of all when I checked-in at night I couldn't recognise that this was the hotel .There were no lights switched on and no safety also the reception was on first floor . Even the reception boys were flirting and there is no safety inside the hotel itself. I have been to many business trips but this is the first hotel who charged for waterbottle as well how cheap .

Pathetic.I booked this hotel through Agoda to stay in 24th April,but when I reached no one was there at reception.I tried calling the reception number but no one was responding.I had to stay there stranded for around 45 mins.Finally I called Agoda and they also tried connecting the property and at the end they cancelled the booking.Too much inconvenience.Treebo group has lost its faith.

The website is showing deluxe room which is in large in space, I booked using phone call with IVR, They gave deluxe room on call when I reached hotel they gave me standard room. Room has cockroaches I killed many, the pillow has bad small, the bedsheet is dirty, I see towel had brown marks, The breakfast is limited and not so good, place does not maintain hygiene at all. it was bad experience for me.

Treebo The Meridian in Chikmagalur has clean rooms but poor service. The kettle in my room was not working, and despite informing the staff multiple times, no action was taken. There was no WiFi available, and breakfast options were limited with no in-house restaurant. I do not recommend this hotel due to unreliable amenities and unresponsive staff.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Avoid Treebo! I booked a “premium” room at Treebo, The Meridian, during the 15th August long weekend, but it turned out to be nothing more than a suffocating storeroom. The AC wasn’t working from the moment I checked in, and after complaining, I was told the AC had “run out of gas.” Despite repeated requests, it was never fixed. The staff didn’t apologise, nor did they offer any resolution. When I reached out to Treebo’s customer care, I was given the complete runaround. It took them more than a week to respond, and their excuse (after talking to the hotel management) was that “AC doesn’t work below 18°C.” I was shocked at the unprofessionalism of both the hotel management and Treebo executives for giving such a baseless and insulting explanation. Even after 20+ days and multiple follow-ups, the highest escalation manager, Alicia, offered only ₹1,000 as compensation against the ₹9,000+ I paid for a 2 day stay. She repeatedly ignored the seriousness of the issue and simply kept repeating their “policy”. Treebo takes your money upfront but disappears when it comes to accountability. The worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Rooms smell like hell, washrooms are even stinkier. when they turn on the generator then your room will start smelling like Diesel. Mosquitoes here are bigger than flies and lets not talk about the behaviour of untrained staff they have. The whole night you will hear the noise of their pentry door banging because hotel staff have no etiquette and no worry about guests. Breakfast will have 3 items at max with lots of fruit flies sitting on fruits and breads. I have added pics for reference. The hotel is in no way a 3 star hotel. I will rate it a 1 star hotel. The owner is buying reviews to lure more and more people in hotel.

Very bad experience during our stay. Rooms and washrooms were stinking. Breakfast serving was unhygienic with insects moving around the bread and jam servings. Food was cold and was bad in taste. Overall not worth the cost charged. Will share the review with make my trip as well since it is misleading customers through showing this as top 10 properties of chikmanglur which clearly it is not. Treebo should also review the property as per their standards as it is not meeting the general Treebo standard i have observed previously.

Treebo meridian don't know why they call it a 3 star hotel breakfast is not good the rooms r not clean at all there r pests in the rooms and hotel there r stains on linens also and some linens r torn too ac doesn't work in the room they have the buffet in basement area in which the chef and dish don't heat up at all no mirrors in rooms too and recently a vehicle of the hotels staff member was stolen which was parked right in front of the hotel so these r the qualities of TREEBO MERIDIAN which i have seen even after reading this u want to go there i will only say best of luck to u because u r gonna need it there

Room is very small as compare to cost. Limited staff doing multiple service. Breakfast is very poor and felt non hygienic. Basic stuff like towels, water heater etc are in poor condition. Not recommended at all.
