“rarely leave long negative reviews, but my experience at [Hotel Name: President / Present] in Hubli was so consistently disappointing that I feel obligated to warn other travelers — especially those expecting decent hospitality, warm food, or even basic courtesy from staff. 1. Food: Served Stone Cold — Repeatedly The meals I was served were not just lukewarm — they were outright cold, as if they’d been plated long before being brought to the table. I tried giving the kitchen the benefit of the doubt the first time, but after requesting fresh hot food and still receiving barely warm dishes, I realized this wasn’t a one-off accident; it’s a service standard failure. • Main course arrived cold. • Bread/rotis stiff and dry, clearly not fresh. • Even items that must be hot for safety/taste (gravies, rice) were cold. • When I raised it, response was dismissive, not apologetic. 2. “Disappointing Experience Despite a Great Room The room was excellent — spacious, clean, and the water pressure in the taps was surprisingly great, which is rare these days. However, the breakfast was quite average and not up to expectations for the price paid. The biggest concern, though, was safety. I got robbed. Petrol loss half a tank of petrol was missing when I checked the next morning. This is unacceptable. Either the hotel has outsourced its parking to unreliable vendors or there is a serious security issue with night parking. Guests should be very cautious about leaving valuables in their vehicles. The hotel needs to investigate this urgently. Sadly, this incident completely ruined what could have been a pleasant stay.”

“I had an unplanned trip to Hubli following a business meeting, and I chose to stay at The President Hotel, Hubballi, booking a Suite room for added comfort. After a long drive from Bengaluru, my intention was to rest and recharge for a hectic day ahead.||||However, at around midnight, the air conditioning unit in the bedroom began making loud, disturbing noises. I immediately reported this to the reception/hotel manager on night duty. To my surprise, I was initially offered a table fan as a temporary solution—despite having paid a premium for a Suite room that includes air conditioning.||||Only after insisting that I could not sleep without AC was I offered an alternative room. Unfortunately, I had to move my own luggage from Suite 121 to Room 321, with no assistance provided.||||Given the standard expected from a property of this level, I was disappointed with both the handling of the situation and the overall hospitality. Additionally, it’s worth noting that the hotel lacks a closed parking facility, which may be inconvenient for guests traveling by car.||||I hope this feedback is taken constructively to help improve guest experience in the future.”

SnehaSusan Varghese★★★★★Caution: fuel tank to be siphoned ! I’m disappointed. When I checked the fuel in the morning ready for our journey I noticed half a tank of petrol was gone. Since I didn’t drive anywhere after handing over the car to the parking valet, I can only suspect theft. In the hotel’s parking, it seems someone is tampering with vehicles during the night. This is a serious security concern that you should consider before handing over your vehicle.

I visited here again ...and voila it happened again. I was going through some previous reviews as well saw some1 writing about them siphoning fuels as well..never coming here again.

souvik1234★★★★★I travel to cities and towns and to states ||This time in this President hotel , it was nightmare of an experience when my gadgets got water soaked because of water spillage in the room...which went to an extent of heavy flow of water - from the wall during just a normal rains....||After that , on the same evening - a promised car service got delayed ( offcousre , understanbiliy for rainfall and some water leggings) but after it was all okay with all roads dried up and Nirmal traffic, the hotel was completely causal on their approach to provide the service and they kept on laughing about the problem. This was a erratically bad experience

Project One★★★★★Recently, I had an experience at The President Hotel in Hubli that left me quite disappointed. I dined there with my friends, and while the ambiance initially impressed us, the overall experience did not live up to expectations. The food was mediocre at best and certainly not worth the high prices. However, the most frustrating aspect was the restaurant's location in the building's cellar. There was no air conditioning, no windows, and no exhaust fans, making it an unbreathable area. The lack of proper ventilation made the dining experience quite uncomfortable and unpleasant.
