I know my 1-star rating doesn’t cost you much, but the reason behind it is related to the advance amount, which is too high at ₹6,000. Although I informed the owner a month in advance over a phone call, due to miscommunication he later said I didn’t inform him. Because of this, I lost ₹6,000. Not here to blame, but just be cautious while communicating with the owner—prefer written records to avoid such issues. By the way, the PG is good and the facilities are decent.

I stayed here for just 20 days and had to change the PG without even giving a second thought about the refundable deposit of 4k. That itself says a lot about the experience. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has so many positive reviews — most of them honestly feel fake, especially the ones praising cleanliness and food. The rooms and common areas are poorly maintained, the ventilation is terrible, and the rooms feel suffocating due to the lack of proper airflow. The food was another major disappointment — not unhygienic, but the taste was extremely poor and difficult to tolerate on a daily basis. Definitely not worth the money or the stress.

I stayed at Sudarshan PG and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The owner is polite and the hospitality was good throughout my stay. Pros: 1. The PG is located in a convenient area, just about a 15-minute walk to BCIT Tech Park. 2. Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned regularly, usually every 3 days, which helps maintain hygiene. 3. Room sizes are decent — suitable for single or double sharing, as expected in a PG setup. 4. I never faced any issues with water or electricity during my stay. 5. The food is mostly South Indian, with chicken and eggs served on Sundays and Wednesdays. Coming from a Bengali background, I still found the food manageable and didn’t face any major issues. Cons: 1. The water dispenser is only available on the ground floor. It would be more convenient if it was accessible on other floors as well. 2. Some rooms have limited natural light and airflow, likely due to the close proximity of adjacent buildings — though this is manageable.
