“Horrible Experience – Not Worth the Hassle! Our stay was extremely disappointing from the moment we checked in. There was a diaper left in the bathroom, which was absolutely disgusting. It made us question the cleanliness of the entire place. On Day 1, lunch was delayed by 2 hours, despite us informing them in advance that we had kids. This was extremely inconvenient, and to make matters worse, the food quality was inconsistent—every order tasted different! Dinners weren’t any better—cold food, missing dishes, and unavailability of basic items like spoons and napkins made eating a struggle. Some dishes were even unavailable, forcing us to change our order multiple times. Breakfast was no different—despite a confirmation for 7:30 AM, it kept getting delayed until 9:30 AM! By the time we finally got it, the whole morning was wasted. The activity manager was nowhere to be found at the given time, making our plans fall apart. Instead of taking responsibility, the manager only made excuses for every problem. This place is poorly managed and definitely not worth the price. Would NOT recommend! Property is really good but service is the main concern!!”

“I had a very disappointing experience today while trying to make a reservation at Tropical Tree Resort. Reaching the reservation team itself was difficult, as I had to make repeated calls before someone finally responded. Even after connecting, the staff seemed unwilling to speak properly and repeatedly insisted that they would share details only through WhatsApp.||Unfortunately, the messages sent on WhatsApp were extremely cryptic, incomplete, and far from cordial or professional. There was no warmth, clarity, or genuine customer support during the interaction.||What is most disappointing is that the vision and mission presented on the website appear completely different from the actual customer experience. The promises of hospitality and service do not reflect reality at all. Based on my experience, it felt more like hype than genuine commitment to customer care.||I hope the management seriously reviews its customer communication and reservation handling process, because first impressions matter greatly in the hospitality industry.”

“Hospitality is very bad. Pool is not clean, No dryer in room, room service is bad, no saperate veg and non veg section, most of the time their staff don't understand what we say or ask for, they behave differently with foreign guest ie preferential treatment, they said kids play room but it was not there..Can list 10+ plus more bad experience after staying in this property. Better check out other property if you are looking for a peaceful stay. Instead of fixing it, you will get automated response from their handle asking for what is the concern for sharing the concern.”

“Security is a big concern considering the place is remote. While the rooms are spacious lot of disturbance as there are gaps between the wall and roof which is part of design. Had a bad experience of vehicle damage due to hotel negligence and their response is they are not responsible for the vehicle. Staff is less and the manager is never seen, not sure even if they have one since I said I wanted to meet him but even the staff were not forthcoming. Book at your own discretion.”

Mahesh Babu Adimurthy★★★★★Very disappointed with the experience. I booked 5 rooms via Agoda. The resort later claimed that the booking was only for 5 people, even though standard room occupancy is 2 persons per room. This was never clearly highlighted during booking. Suddenly, just before the stay, they demanded an extra ₹15,000 for additional guests. What was worse than the cost was the attitude. I spoke to Kishore from the resort, and his communication was extremely rude and unprofessional. He showed zero concern for guests, repeatedly saying “talk to the booking app, I can’t do anything”. No effort to explain politely, no willingness to help, no sense of hospitality at all. Because of this behavior, we were put under stress and had to re-plan everything at the last minute, which completely spoiled the experience. If a resort cannot treat guests with basic respect and courtesy, they should seriously reconsider running a hospitality business. Hospitality is not just about rooms—it’s about how you treat people. Would not recommend this place, especially if you value respectful communication and guest experience

harshitha kanchan★★★★★Except for the fact that the ambience is great, nothing else is good here. Hospitality is at its worst, the staff are ignorant and unprofessional. They don’t have any clue on navigation throughout the property. Food options are good to nothing. 2 options only to choose from for the extreme high prices. Breakfast spread was pathetic. The breads kept had ants crawling on them. Empty vessels with constant follow up to refill the food items. They don’t remember to get your order. We literally had to walkout. For the bomb amount they charge we get absolutely no service worth it. In spite of being New Year’s Eve they had no events planned. No music as well. Bonfire was planned which was a big fail as it didn’t even burn for 5 minutes. When asked for glasses at the restaurant they say they need to get it from the kitchen and didn’t even proceed to get it. High tea is also not included in the charges. Overall a very bad experience, I would not suggest anyone to waste their money here.

Then we had to walk in the sunlight which was like 40 degrees Celsius and those people don't even care about us then we spotted the playpark and the FRONT OFFICE only lied and that also to kids then we got to the place and the waiters making fun of us . One waiter s plaw a whole cup of ice cream in our hand and I heard waiter 1 saying to waiter 2 "go prank th e kids" I thought this was a good resort but not recommended for kids and specially in summer...

Harshavardhan★★★★★⭐ 1/5 — Worst Experience Ever! Not Worth the Money or the Stress! We had visited this resort for a pre-wedding shoot after being charged ₹25,000 for just 4 hours (7 AM to 11 AM) for 6 people. For such a high amount, we expected at least basic courtesy and service — but what we experienced was absolutely disappointing. They didn’t even provide a proper changing room and asked us to change in the washroom! Because of their negligence and rude behaviour, we lost nearly one hour of our shoot time. The manager Praveen and another manager (on call) were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. After a long argument, they reluctantly gave us a room for just 15 minutes — as if they were doing us a favour. To make up for their behaviour, they said they would offer us complimentary drinks — but later handed over a bill of ₹1,770 for 6 fruit drinks! When we questioned it, the poor waiter started crying and said the amount would be cut from her salary if we didn’t pay. Completely unacceptable and manipulative! To make things worse, when we asked for a GST bill, they claimed they don’t have one. Only after arguing again did they say they’d “send it later,” which never happened. Overall,

Even Social melas( Jaatres ) are better organised structured uffff can easily say spoiled our New Years Eve I have more to say and only negative things I m just ending here. This place is not even worth of 1k. The place doesn’t even deserve one start but unfortunately there is no such option. Very loud I will say to everyone don’t even think of visiting this place

Manali DuttaDas★★★★★The people in the reception were pathetic special the lady and the person in evening time. Mr Subin the GM helped us to finally get a room with the AC as the one we booed did not have an AC and more over while booking no where it was mentioned. We had to wait for almost 1.5hour to get our room. So the entire evening was waisted just because we had no room to settle. Finally paid extra amount for the room to avail the AC facility. 2guys named Kashmiri Mail and Chandan from the restaurant were really good n polite and gave a good room service.

surajit das★★★★★We had a horrible experience while checking in. People in the reception was pathetic. Website portal did not show that the rooms which we booed was non AC but upon arrival we found out to be a non AC rooms even after paying 12k. We had no other option apart from upgrading the rooms by paying another 4K to have an AC in the room after waiting for 1 n half hour. So think before u book this hotel. Check properly if they have ac in the rooms.

Anand★★★★★The maintenance at this resort is one of the worst. We have a designated path, but they're not allowing cars to pass through it. It doesn't make sense to park the car, carry luggage, and walk around 500-600 meters through the path. There's a lack of efficient service, and these small things reflect poorly on the resort's image. The service is terrible, and this is in Karnataka, where they could do better, especially considering Kannada hospitality is known for being warm.

chaitanya dhingra★★★★★TLDR; all the reviews are true. Come for the stay. Not for food. What’s good — The property has great infrastructure, landscapes, open lawns and utilities. The rooms are themed and are very calm and serene. What’s not good — The service. Period. Whatever you can imagine. We checked in and were greeted with smiles of excuses. We reached at 4pm against the 2pm Check in time and were asked to wait for 15 more minutes to prepare 1 out of 4 rooms. Once we reached the rooms, our luggage reached after 30 minutes after multiple follow ups with the reception. The rooms had very low lighting which was intended to be aesthetic but lacked functionality. There is a moon window which wakes you up brutally at sunrise. We reached at 4pm and proceeded for hi-tea we were offered. The hi-tea started pouring well beyond 5:30pm. Every meal, every single meal is delayed. It’s slightly unbelievable yet true. Food was either cold, stale or raw. Tea was served with curdled milk which I had to spit. Though the team is very well intentioned but couldn’t back it up with actions.

Anusha Venkat★★★★★We stayed at the Tropical Village African Homes, paying ₹13,000 per night after a discount. While the property itself looks new and beautifully designed, the overall experience was quite disappointing. The biggest issue was with the service quality and maintenance. Internet connectivity was unreliable — it worked only after repeatedly informing the staff. Unfortunately, the room landline was also not functional, leaving us with no way to contact the front desk. Housekeeping could use significant improvement. Towels were not properly cleaned, room cleaning requests were not attended to, and essentials like hand towels and water bottles were never replaced. The kettle in the room didn’t work, and even the replacement provided was broken. We also faced a power outage during our stay, and the entire cottage went dark. Since the phone wasn’t working, we had to walk to the front desk at 9:30 PM with our kids to inform them — a very uncomfortable situation. As two families traveling together, we all felt that the experience did not match the premium pricing. The swinging bed in one of the rooms was unstable and made sleeping difficult. There were also unfinished wall drawings, creakin

Rachana K.N★★★★★The ambience is top notch very serene and so many verities of rooms available. Food is absolutely pathetic. Taste is worst and the service is even more sluggish. They took almost 2 hours to get dinner after ordering. Until 9am breakfast won’t be ready. They took literally 15 minutes to get a glass of milk. Such beautiful property covered by Inefficient staffs. No room service available… Lastly they are least kid friendly!
