“We booked the studio room around a month ago, we went with two kids , my hubby and myself . We were assigned a room with creaky doors, not so clean bathrooms and two single beds that were put together. While knowing we went there with small kids the staff dint provide us with better rooms and keep in mind the advance booking . The food was sad , the only good thing was the live music by Glen and Robert cheered us . We ordered chicken sukka it was like chicken in tomato gravy , such a big name and such bad experience!!! Will never visit again .”

“As a frequent traveler, I expected a certain standard of hygiene, comfort, and service — especially from a reputed name like Windflower. Unfortunately, our recent stay at Windflower Coorg was nothing short of a nightmare. The rooms were shockingly ill-maintained — dirty linens, unclean bathrooms, and a general sense of neglect all around. The food bordered on inedible, and our children couldn’t eat anything served at dinner. Heartbreakingly, they went to bed hungry. Breakfast was skipped entirely the next morning, and we checked out a day early — forfeiting the second night of our stay just to get away. Worse, we had also pre-booked a night at Windflower Mysore, but after this horrendous experience, we chose not to risk another night and booked a different hotel instead — again, at our own cost. This was not just a case of “expectation vs. reality” — it was a genuine failure on basic standards: cleanliness, food quality, and guest responsibility. Resorts inviting families with children must take these elements seriously. “Normally I will not be so harsh on rating. Had booked windflower which is away from city keeping in mind safety of my family and expected a hygienic room in today's pandemic condition. Was shocked to see hairs on pillow and bed and had to call almost 3 times for someone to attend and change the linen. Finally the house keeping staff comes and checks and advises to change the room but risking the same I insist they change the linen in the same room . Another surprise when he replies that they were running full the previous day and had no stock of fresh bedsheets or pillow covers.....however not sure he manages to get new bedsheet but had to manage with the same dirty pillow. Not sure if the management is doing an audit of safety in all rooms.... I almost waited for a week before posting this review since had expected at least a courtesy call from the management which never happened and I believe they are not serious about the safety standards. Hopefully this feedback on a public platform might make them serious.”

tingi tinga★★★★★Extremely Disappointing Wedding Experience – Not Recommended We attended a wedding at this venue on Sunday, 8th June, and it was truly a disappointing and frustrating. The area was swarming with flies, making it nearly impossible to enjoy the food or even sit comfortably. When we raised the issue, the staff and even the manager casually dismissed it, saying, “It’s the mango season.” Nobody took responsibility for the chaos, and it felt like the event was completely mismanaged from start to finish. This place not only ruined what should have been a joyous celebration, but it also left many guests feeling angry, stressed, and deeply disappointed. Hosting an event here could honestly lead to emotional distress — that's how bad the experience was. I strongly advise against planning any event at this hotel. If you do, be prepared for frustration and regret.

Unfortunately All rooms with bed bugs, we had a booking for 13rooms for 2 nights for approx Rs 3.3L 1. When I made the booking for 13 rooms for 2 nights, it was a basic need to give every room together, but, no rooms were provided together. all my family members were scattered and we ended up staying away even though we planned an event called a family get-together which was an issue from the local team who were planning our stay. 2. Staff must always be pleased when Guests or Guests guest are coordinating. We had an incident that insulted my family as I was not there on the spot and I came to know late. 3. The behavior of all head staff was kind of ignorance, you ask something and they respond by saying "ok sir", "yes sir", "will get it sir".. but even if you wait for 40min nothing comes out. 4. At least 10 of your rooms had Bed bugs and we got to know the day we were checking out. 5. We come to the resort to enjoy ourselves, we have our food counter open until 10:30 pm, and as far I know that is the last order, but the staff behavior is like you come before we remove the

Getaway05209914682★★★★★A pretty bad experience overall. First we got a room with a broken and sunken mattress, which they offered to "flip" in order to "fix" it. The flipping revealed toys and shampoo bottles under the mattress. They refused to replace the mattress and we had to pack and move to another room.||Moving to our second room, the AC wasn't cooling at all, and we were calling every 15 mins to get the AC working, meanwhile my 5yo was having a meltdown with the heat.||After another hour or so, we were informed that we have to move to another room as the AC won't work here||Meanwhile, we cannot access a single channel on the tv because the account is suspended, the, I am again on the phone every 15 mins to ask when it will be fixed.||A really frustrating experience

Arun Keshavamurthy★★★★★Great location. But the rooms are not well maintained, house keeping head is good but the staff is careless and doesn’t bother to their job. Had to call multiple times to even get the basic things in room which should’ve been set while checkin. Restaurant is pricey and avg for lunch or dinner. Buffet breakfast is good. Resort is under maintenance and many amenities are either closed or not in usable condition. Not a value for money.

Milan Mandanna★★★★★It's super expensive for nothing!! We paid 14k for a room for just one day because it had a private swimming pool which looked a little bigger than a bathroom tub. Well, when we are paying 14k, they should have at least cleaned the pool before they checked us in! They said they have a lot of amenities, indoor games like pool, badminton, and archery. The badminton shuttle was very cheap,probably 10rs shuttle. The pool table had the main black ball missing 😂 And archery was bleh. Talking about the room service, they didn't even clean the rooms after informing them multiple times. And they have cheap quality television and remotes.. they won't even work most of the time. Overall, it was a pathetic service for 14k.

Sowmya Holenarsipur★★★★★The entire experience was a complete let down and spoilt our vacation. The rooms were shabby, dirty and smelly. The curtains were dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were saggy. The service is horrible and for a small thing such as getting the washroom cleaned, we had to wait for hours and call the reception a thousand times. The front desk cared two hoots for our comfort. There were no clean towels at the pool and no one to help us around- the shower room had dirty towels thrown all over the floor. The dining area was full of flies and were sitting on cutlery and foods. Absolutely not worth the money! It badly needs renovation and hospitable service.

Rekha Devi★★★★★Hello Everyone! Be careful, don't visit this hotel with kids, writing this review after 3 months because the trauma we went through after our kid fell sick after eating here, so scary! We visited this place with kids and friends on a weekend thinking we will have a good time but it turned out be something else..the starters were all stale including veg, my son started vomiting immediately after eating food. After reaching home my son was totally sick, he continued to vomit all night later he was hospitalised. The stale food which he ate had very rear bacteria which infected his blood called sepsis. It's life threatening by God's grace he was saved. But to recover it took almost 3 months for him, he missed one month of school. Please don't visit this place with kids! Be careful, I wish this resort shuts down soon, not sure how many kids have suffered due to the hotel' s carelessness. Management has gone for dogs, earlier it was good,I think the Management is changed now,I condemn the food & health officers who have allowed this hotel to function!

Hospitality is horrible. There was no fridge when we went. When complained they got a fridge that was not working. Even outside the room the ambience is gone. The wooden deck for premium studio rooms is so bad if u step on it, it might break. So definitely NO NO for kids. The breakfast was so horrible. Never expected WINDFLOWER to lose it standards so badly.

Suddenly they call repeatedly saying guests are waiting and please check out , where we can see no guests waiting and no cars as well . Rooms are big but not clean . Balcany flooring is bad , one side of the floor has gap where our feet goes inside easily . They have not kept any toiletries and towels . Food was good but they take min 1 hours to send even water bottle .

arjun sreekumar★★★★★Stayed in Courtyard room where guests are treated like second class citizens. Being far there is no room service which we accepted as no other rooms were available. But no room service also means the lights don't work, the minibar does not work, so h can't even store some snacks for your kid. The path to the courtyard rooms has got a sewer leak somewhere, emanating a stench, so it does not give a hospitable feel. Still acceptable. But when our kid got injured and could not be taken all the way to dining room, they agreed to provide room service for one meal, but only in name. The restaurant deliberately didn't pick up calls and despite repeatedly calling the reception they didn't send a person or even call back. By the time I created a fuss and got a semblance of service, my kid had slept for the night without his dinner. Property is otherwise fine, food was tasty though the restaurant service is snail paced and chaotic but it's at such times of need that a hotel and it's staff normally shine. But this place disappointed terribly. Avoid if u have kids or elderly with you. Especially the Courtyard rooms unless one prefers "step-motherly" treatment.

Jagrithi Mandanna★★★★★We paid Rs. 14,280 for a junior villa with a facility that was totally not worth it. Indoor game room is literally a shed with not great games. Private pool in the villa, wasn’t even cleaned when we checked it, wasn’t cleaned even after we requested them to, until finally they came in and cleaned it for us. Food was bad, the simplest things we ordered stank. For eg: Peanut masala was made with onions that had gone bad. TV in the rooms, dint have a functioning remote. When we finally got a remote we realized, the “smart” tv we were using wasn’t even smart to let us login to Amazon prime. Came in for a laid back weekend staycation at mysore which turned into a frustrated stay. Please reconsider if you are planning to book the place.
