Stayed at Sunny Guest House in Hampi after seeing their Instagram promotion. We reached there around 10 PM on a heavy rainy night on 25th. They charged us ₹3200 for 2 non-AC cottages. There was no proper information about checkout timing before booking or during check-in, and later they suddenly said checkout time is 10 AM. The worst part was there was no power, no mobile charging facility, and overall very poor basic arrangements. For the amount charged, the experience was very disappointing and felt misleading. Guests should be informed clearly about timings and facilities before taking payment.

We stayed here last month. The stay was comfortable. However, the restaurant service left a lot to be desired. The food was overpriced not even the single water bottle they will give it as room service , and the service was slow. Additionally, basic requests like lemon and ice were not fulfilled, which was disappointing. The service guy is very rude. I would recommend the property for the stay but suggest exploring other dining options nearby.

Not welcoming Indians, very strange indeed. We went there for food but they said there is no food available now and is closed for any new customer. Whereas while returning back after 3hours, while passing by the cafe, found that still it was the only cafe which was open and playing music. Only foreigners were there, this is really weird and not acceptable.

We stayed here over the weekend 6 & 7 th June 2026 , rooms booked D3 D4 with a group of 7 people. The food quality did not justify the price charged. We were billed ₹7,420 for food which partially included beverages as well and this was high priced. Most chicken dishes tasted exactly the same, regardless of the item ordered. Each dish contained only a few 3 to 4 small boneless chicken pieces that appeared to have been pre-boiled and refrigerated and then used across different curries. The dining service was also below expectations. The attender’s behavior was not welcoming, and proper table arrangements were not made for our group despite repeated requests. In addition, outside food, drinks, and beverages were not allowed, leaving guests with no alternative options. Overall, the stay was just average. The rooms and accommodation were ok okay, but the food was the biggest disappointment. The food is overpriced, poor in quality, and not worth the money. If you plan to stay here, the accommodation may be acceptable, but I would not recommend eating here due to the poor food quality and high prices. Genuine review Don’t book this stay.

We have booked a single room for 2 persons for 2000/night directly with one of the owner and when we have reached the location they were telling us to stay in a family room with multiple beds exclusively.Since we were not ready, then they have arranged an adjacent property and asked us to pay the difference and after long conversations agreed to provide with the old rate. Overall i felt some miscommunication within the managing persons and an attempt of situational exploitation.

We booked a camping tent and it was utterly atrocious state of room. It was infront of the restaurant kitchens back, with waste, has 8 cylinder etc. No water in the morning to take a shower and no fan or and charging near the tent. Next i want to talk about the restaurant - I think the food was very bad. I don't know who suggested thali but it was the worst. Got kadhai chicken which was just frozen chicken curry. You'll get the frozen chicken after taste. Extremely dissatisfied. Got poori bhaji in the morning, it was so bad it has the burnt oil taste. Overall 1/10. Theyet us keep the luggage over there hence 2 stars. If not zero.

Beautiful location, Nice people Good food Ample parking Everything is nice Apart from the below few points They charge a premium rate just in the name of hampi but the service they need to improve a lot. * Hot water facility is not there, they provided in the bucket * No proper service to Cary lagauge to cottage , we ourselves need to carry * No room service * Little dirty rooms * No hot water kittle, toilataries in the room Again all this improvement are gives based on the charges they have charges. If price is less we would have ignored these points.

Location is Good and rooms are also good but when it comes to service it's worst. AC Room : Always power issue multiple power cut or Ac will be not working. Even after multiple reminders, they responds lately. Food is good but better to have food outside due to its price..
