“I had an absolutely terrible experience at this PG, and the biggest reason for that is the manager, Devdas. Despite being from Gokarna, a place known for its spiritual and cultural significance, he lacks the most basic sense of humanity. Instead of managing the place properly, he acts like he owns it, making up rules as he pleases while neglecting the actual responsibilities of his job. One of the biggest issues I faced was with the drinking water. The filter hadn’t been cleaned for god knows how long, and drinking that contaminated water gave me a severe kidney infection. I ended up in the hospital and had to spend ₹3 lakhs on treatment. It was a horrible experience, all because of pure negligence. Due to this emergency, I had to vacate the PG on the 4th of the month. The rule was to pay rent on the 5th, yet he still deducted ₹2,500, claiming a late fee of ₹500 per day, which made no sense given my situation. On top of that, he refused to return my security deposit, even though everything that happened was entirely their fault. The level of insensitivity didn’t stop there. A week later, my important documents were still in my roommate’s room, and I sent a friend to collect them”
