“My experience with Colive PG has been quite bad. The food quality is below average, rooms are very small, no proper cleaning and bathrooms are in very bad condition. After vacating the property and completing all formalities, my security deposit has still not been refunded. It’s been several weeks, and every time I contact customer support, I only get false promises. Raised tickets multiple times but no proper response. This is highly unprofessional and frustrating. I would not recommend Colive to anyone based on this experience.”

Hema malini★★★★★I had a worst experience here. They asked me to do a deposit of 2k to book the room. I payed 2k. Later after half and hour they called me and asked to pay full deposit amount of 10k which they didn't even said before. After 2 days they made multiple calls to do the deposit immediately if not we will give room to other person. After getting tried of those calls we informed that we don't need that room. Give it to the people who waited with the laguage at reception. So, they canceled my booking. Later, I asked them when can I expect my refund. They said in 15days you will get it. I waited for 1 and half month I have not received any amount. So, we called to the same number and this time when we asked for refund they disconnected and blocked our number. This is how they are earning money.

I stayed here for 7 months, and I hardly ate 8 meals there, its like it suck in test and hygiene, there are rats in their community kitchen area. you will surely find better PGs than this in same rate and same area. About deposit, they don’t return. I paid deposit and its been half month since i left and didn’t received it yet. So if you decide to join this pg then be ready to loose your deposit. Also no matter how less electricity you use, you have to pay more electricity bill. So I wasn’t there for around 20 days and the electricity bill mentioned in the rent bill was higher than the last month. So what they do is they accumulate the total electricity bill of entire building and then they equally divide it among all tenants, which is again unfair. Even they will take some extra charges like maintenance cost, cleaning cost, water bill, gas bill, soap charges yes you read it correct they also mention soap charge in the rent bill, then service charges, wifi charges . Kaustubh★★★★★I’ve been staying at a Colive property in Bangalore for about 2 weeks, and here’s the reality: No Manager Presence: In 10 days, I’ve seen the property manager once. The househelp redirects all queries to the manager, but the manager is never there. So, who do we even ask? Sales Pressure → Then Ghosting: Before booking, the Colive sales team kept hounding me day and night — “Pay deposit now, pay rent now, book right this minute.” But once you pay, they disappear. Zero response for any issue post check-in. Room Allotment Mess: The room number mailed to me was not the room I actually got. Seems they just shoved me into whichever room was empty at that moment. Wifi Joke: They claim to provide 100GB WiFi, but no one tells you how to even connect. There’s no staff around to answer basic questions. Food Inconsistency: For the rent we pay, food is served only 5 days a week. The other 2 days? No idea, no explanation. Verdict: Colive cares only about getting your money. After that, you’re on your own — no support, no accountability, no transparency. For the premium they charge, the service is worse than a budget PG.

Apart from that even the basic facilities for example water was not available And now when i have left instead of giving me the security deposit these people have provided me with such an irrelevant bill of 23,000 and asking me to pay 10,000 more I really really can’t understand like i pay the rent on the first week of every month before I evacuated the place everything was clear Even the entire Colive community is impolite. They won’t even respond me that why I am getting these bills

Here is a list of issues I have had: 1) The food is served in an unsanitary way and is absolutely disgusting to taste. Somehow, it feels like Colive is taking advantage of those that can't afford to order in everyday. 2) The furniture is moldy and disgusting. The pictures speak for themselves. 3) They will refuse to accept any packages on your behalf because there's nobody at the desk. Ever. Even during my checkin, I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to show me to my room. 4) They charged me a full month's rent when I moved in, and are asking me for the next month's simply because their billing cycle completes on the 1st. I've only lived here 15 days before the 1st! When I refused to pay additional rent, they said they can't refund my deposit either. Very scammy. 5) Took me 2 weeks to get the internet to start working. That also happened only when I took a day off from work for this particular job simply because the management doesn't have a spare/emergency key to my room. I could go on all day. The point is, don't bother staying here. You might as well crawl up in an alle

When I moved in the sales person promised me the rent would be 16k and I asked her over and over again, if there were any extra charges apart from the electricity bill and she said "No" everything else is included. Once I moved in the sales person never responded to my calls or texts. The room, I was given was not even in the same building. So I had to move in and stay in some random room, it was filled with mold, cockroaches and the room had some foul smell and no service was even provided to clean the room before I moved in. I had to clean my own room and the cupboard was terrible and it ruined half of my clothes. The app was as useless as the people working in the office, no answer for any queries. Applying for the notice period was even worse because they will charge extra before you leave, and they won't even give the deposit back. The food is terrible, and it's not hygienic at all. They don’t care about the comfort or well-being of their residents. The food is stale, tasteless, and sometimes inedible. On top of that, they charged me an additional ₹36,000 with no proper explanation or justification. The staff is completely unprofessional and unresponsive. Even when I raised service tickets or tried calling, no one would pick up or address my concerns. What’s worse, they refuse to refund my deposit despite the numerous issues. There is zero communication from their side, and there is never anyone available to speak with. No one seems to take responsibility for anything. The management and service are appalling.

Here are the major issues I faced: No Deposit Refund: Despite following all the necessary procedures, including filling out the cancellation form, I have not received my deposit back. Multiple emails to customer service went unanswered, and my calls were cut off whenever I inquired about the refund. This makes the stay much more expensive than expected. Poor Drinking Water Quality and Availability: The drinking water quality was very poor and often unavailable. This is a basic necessity that was not adequately provided. Lack of Support from PG Manager and Staff: There was no support from the PG manager or support staff. Any issues raised were ignored, and no assistance was provided. Terrible Food Quality: The food quality was consistently terrible. It was often inedible and lacked variety and nutritional value. Given these numerous problems, I strongly advise against booking this PG. The combination of no deposit refund, poor facilities, and unresponsive management makes for a very unpleasant and costly experience. Save yourself the trouble and find a better place to stay.
