I bring you for your notice that, me & my family visit the KSTDC Belur, we stayed, accommodation was good, visit the restaurant food was good but hygiene was poor as me and my mum found hair in our food. When we mentioned it, the Chethan who is the waiter said accidents could happen and he said it could be my mum's hair. I asked him, if the chef wore a hair net and the waiter said no -_-, Chethan waiter he his not responded properly. He also vulgar language he used. which is an awful hygiene practice in a restaurant. We won't visit this place again or recommend it to anyone. I wrote a letter to manager & given to him. Kindly remove waiter like this staff. Thanking you. They served stale chicken dish which he had to reject and they accepted it was bad, Though it was just 8pm they had no much options to serve and the things they had was already gone bad. Pathetic it was and we moved to another restaurant to fill our tummy

These locations MUST be privatized.. Pathetic service.. Rooms too large for a double occupancy and the restaurant timings date back to the rulers when they got up at 10 am!! The service attitude is as if they are doing us a favor!! It's confirmed that whether these chaps work or not, they get their salary from the government exchequer.. A tax payers money.. Least are these guys hospitable.. Plan your stay well.. Don't stay here!!

Worst service,no option in veg food. They'll push you to have Buffet which you need to share with package tourists. If you order from menu, they'll just say only buffet food is available for dine-in. Veg menu is just trash. Full of crowd, not bcoz of quality, but bcoz of non-availability. Bad attitude of of staffs. Never choose this hotel until you have unbearable hunger..... Look for something smaller place who will give better service and menu options. Better hotel are available enroute Kottigehara-Belur highway and Belur-Hassan highway.

Worst service, below average taste very expensive. When asked for water he suggested to buy bottle. He didn't served water until we finished, waited for 5 mins to get water. Got struck in this place because I was travelling in the one day trip of KSTDC tour. No option but these horrible places.

First of all, reception lady was very rude, we reached there at 11 am, we wanted to see d room, so dat we can decide, whether we want to upgrade it or nt, bt she was like come at 12, i can't do anything, we were with my 1.5 year old baby, which was making more difficult to bear this type of treatment. Second, food is not good.

The food here is not good. We ordered paneer butter masala, dal tadka, masala papad and tandoori roti and topped it all with buttermilk. What I never could understand is how could someone screw up such a basic order. The food had no taste, paneer gravy was all watery. Best part even the dal fry and tandoori roti were bad too, tandoori roti seemed like tawa roti heated in oven. Best part was the buttermilk, it was nothing but water added to raitha which they serve for pulao. There's a banana selling wholesale shop just before this restaurant, i would recommend eating a dozen bananas rather than eating here. Would work out economical too.

We had a lunch stop at this place while on a KSTDC bus trip to Belur. We ordered egg fried rice and chicken curry and it has to be one of the most abominable culinary experiences. The fried rice lacked any trace of eggs, was utterly horrid in taste. The accompanying chicken curry too wasn't much to write home about. To top it off, the service is tardy. We were provided "fresh"plates where remnants from an earlier chilli manchurian were smudged to the sides. Steer clear of this place's culinary offerings.

How describe the quality of food they provide i believe this is backed by Karnataka tourism development authority when I visited here for lunch it was quite busy and everyone was taking order and one server told it will take some time to get your order as we cook the food after taking order I was happy, when I ordered panner and veg curry with roti .... Paneer was looking like it was collected from another hotel as they thrown due to low quality and veg curry was like made from the remaining of all yesterday's curry... taste was almost similar to useless never visit here it's total useless

If planning for Belur and checking to stay in Hotel Mayura with family, My suggestion is not to, it's not good family. Next to Hotel there is government TB and Bar. You may find drunkard's We booked three rooms in online they charged 1K per room and when we reached there asked for one more extra room, Hotel mamnger told us it is 2.5K per night and didn't provide extra bed also when we were ready to pay. Water heater was not working properly in one room. Worst experience

Utterly worst place for food, but you are actually compelled to have lunch here as you are stopped to take lunch here by KSTDC Bus. Telling there is only a buffet for lunch. But it is very very bad. The taste is really very bad. You can't order your own food combinations. I was so disgusted with this place that I didn't even take pictures of this place.
