Extremely disappointed with Lakshmi Tiffen Centre, Chitradurga. The chutney served was spoiled, and when asked for a replacement, they rudely refused. The aloo palya was given in a very small quantity, and they didn’t even mention that extra serving is chargeable. Set/khali dosa comes with neer chutney no palya. The person sitting at the cashier is extremely rude, adding to the bad experience. Once a fan of this place, but now the quality, hygiene, and customer service have all fallen drastically. Cleanliness is pathetic, and they only accept cash — no GPay or PhonePe, which is highly inconvenient. Would never recommend this place. However, the establishment accepts only cash payments, which is inconvenient and not in line with current digital payment norms. To be honest, the food was good but the service really sucked. People are very arrogant and do not take orders as soon as customers arrive. They didn’t even open the other room although there wasn’t any space in the 1st floor. We used to look forward to eating khali dosa but the service makes us really wonder if going there is worth.

I am visiting this restaurant from my childhood and almost more than 35 years. Honest review: they don't maintain same quality as before and arrogance cashier/owner. Just hype and more of outsiders visiting this place. There are many other good restaurants around the city. Better to Check with locals before you visit this place. Only cash payment. No UPI or any other Mode. Incometax department should ride this

No other place in Karnataka who charges seperately for palya, Sambar at all Taste is good but food issue for payment is worst !! Feel very bad even in a self service they are looting I request people to teach him a lesson just by boycott

It was my worst experience ever.. We order some idli vada and dosa its was hell lot of time to get we waited around 25 minutes and we received.. The next thing is the quantity was very less the taste of idle was sour we couldn't even put to our mouth. Next was dosa we received only chattni for dosa if we ask for some sagu we did not receive instead the waiter replied that we will provide some palya it will be extra charged.. Next thing was about the cost it is too costly when we compared the others hotel plz don't visit to this hotel

Just because they have kept a bottle of water on your table, you have to pay for that bottle even if you haven't touched that bottle and when we asked them to remove water bottle price from the bill, the great owner started shouting at us.
