“Rooms are not at all good, it was horrible exp. we couldn’t able to stay in that room not even a minute because of smell, hence we vacated immediately. Food is pathetic. Only location is good. They pets all over place in the location, dog hairs were all over the dinning table. They even didn’t refund 1 rupee also.”

“We booked Feb 4th 2026 Murali Guesthouse Hampi through agoda.com at ₹6000 for 2 nights and we went 2 family we paid 12k.. attracted by the heat chef YouTube videos not seen google Review.. After booking, the owner contacted us and told to pay 50% amount otherwise your booking cancel he said. As per Agoda we no need to pay, just we book once we reach hotel we can pay the amount. But this property not following that and say we giving “discount” of ₹1000 if we cancelled the agoda. com reservation and paid her directly. We agreed, but this turned out to be a huge mistake. The property is extremely unhygienic and poorly maintained. The rooms are in terrible condition — bedsheets looked old and unchanged, and the washrooms were filthy, with dirty buckets and a very bad smell. The kitchen and restaurant area are shockingly unclean, with zero hygiene standards. We found dog and cat hair (fur) all over the dining and kitchen areas, as the owner keeps pets that roam freely around the restaurant and kitchen. “One of the most disappointing stays ever in Hampi. This property is shockingly overpriced for what it offers, with almost **no** basic facilities in the stay. There is zero sense of responsibility from the management, so if anything goes wrong, no one steps up or is accountable at all. Do not book this place under any circumstance. It is absolutely not suitable for families or friends, and it is definitely not a party place—you will only end up losing money and peace of mind. No proper food as there is no cook at all!! The person who took the booking is not even seen in this stay and if we call no response as well. No hot water no breakfast for the amount you pay for the stay!! Strongly not recommended. This was, by far, the worst stay experienced in Hampi.”

After booking, the owner contacted us offering a “discount” of ₹2,250 per night if we cancelled the Booking.com reservation and paid her directly. We agreed, but this turned out to be a huge mistake. The property is extremely unhygienic and poorly maintained. The rooms are in terrible condition — bedsheets looked old and unchanged, and the washrooms were filthy, with dirty buckets and a very bad smell. Renu Sangireddy★★★★★We booked this homestay for 2days and had to pay 50% before for booking, and within minutes of reaching there they collected the full amount immediately. Place is not at all good. It's a big NO NO for families or couples who wish to have a pleasant stay. No basic services are provided. Huts are poorly maintained. No hot water, no proper toiletries provided. Towels in bad shape and smelly. Bed is broken... I would've ever seen this type of stay for a 4K perday rate with no food and not even a small welcome drink. We felt cheated on pricing as the prices in the nearby other properties is only 2 to 2.5 K for much better location. They claim to have a full fledged restaurant... but food is priced at a 3star hotel range and better not you mention anything about food. Tea is Rs50/- for a cup of hot water(rather it's a dish washed water). Lots of stray dogs around and make noise all thru the night. Place is very dry and What is shown in the website is not there. Do not recommend this place at all.

If in case you have chosen, don't pay more than 1000₹ per room for per night. The facilities they provide is no worthy than 1000₹. Plan your food accordingly as the kitchen and cook they have is unworthy. The restaurant they claim to have is sick. Avoid at all costs and choose only if you don't have any option. Unworthy.!!

preeti dere★★★★★We booked two tents for 10 k per night for 3 nights. Total cost 60k. Room's and Guesthouse is not at all worth for its price. Very basic tent with no furniture in it and very small room.Only one double bed was there .We carried our laugage on our own . No one was there to carry bags from parking to room's. Room's are very small.They are cutting off power supply for geyser in night and early morning. If you ask for hot water in night they will show you common hot water tap or give you bucket of hot water. 1maggie cost 150 which was taste less. We ordered 5.Aunty and her daughter who run this gust house are very sweet in behavior location of Guesthouse is also good.But sorry to say Room's and service are not worth for 10k per night.

Aditya Raut 09★★★★★worst experience ever. The father of owner constantly tried to extract money. i told him repeatedly i didn’t want his auto rickshaw service but he kept on asking again and again. He only wanted to extract money. They take advantage of location and thus we depend on them for transportation. I had to negotiate at every occasion. This was tiring and i won’t recommend anyone this place. If you are reading this review trust me book a hotel at hampi. I don’t mind paying more but have some decency. You can’t be fooling customers constantly. Also about dropping off i told him i wanted to leave at 12.40 or 1 but he forced me to leave at 12.20, i had to wait at night all alone for an hour. Funny thing, his father picked me up at 2.30 Am and charged 1200 but to drop at 1.30 he asked for 1500. Shame on you guys! Have little decency towards your customers. I hope no one faces what i faced here. Trust me guys hampi is full of kind people but these are not one of those. I am feeling so disgusted! Do not book here! You will find many more great options rather than these looters! Also no hygiene. Won’t recommend it at all. Shame on you guys!

Food service is very slow and taste is below par, also costly...60 rs for tea. 2. only one small blanket given for 2 people, uncomfortable sleep 3. Our room didnt had any table outside or inside, even after asking 2 times nobody provided table 4. Geysar is there but doesnt work 5. As per charges 2500rs for a room, service is not good, stays around comes in half price for same facility 6. Not even complimentary water was provided We came reading great reviews, but were disappointed Pros 1. decent room with few insects 2. Three cute dogs, turkey 3. Good greenery around

Aalok Vedi★★★★★Pretty poor experience. Although the view is scenic but some issues with Maintainence of the property. It’s not what you’d see on images which looks pretty new which isn’t the case. The vibes could be improved by just spending a little like turning on the common lights, keeping the kitchen clean and rooms maintained.

The owner is a liar , asked to book rooms early as if there will be rush in bookings later . When I entered the property , there were no guests at all . The rooms were just decent. The bedsheets were not even clean , in Washroom Flush was not working . To bring more customers, they put nice pics and reels on social media and maintain a very good image . The experience I had today is absolutely disgusting and it happened with me for the first time after so many years of travelling .

He decided to put us in a very noisy room with a poorly cleaned bathroom. We were very disappointed because our intention was to rest during our stay but instead we couldn't sleep well during any of the two nights spent there as our room was right next to the common areas.

Initially we were welcomed in - and I would say that the owners are very friendly, rushing to offer us chai and dinner which we accepted. We were then shown our room - it was basic which is fine, but it was NOT clean. The floor had clumps of hair on, the sheets were dirty and the bathroom toilet didn’t flush, and there wasn’t even a soap. We decided to just try it as we were only staying one night so slept on top of a blanket, but during the night a loud knawing sound was coming from the bathroom which was terrifying - we awoke to find rat feces all over the bathroom! We were then told for ever cup of tea or chai we had as there was a 180rupee charge, nearly double or triple what you’d pay elsewhere which just felt wrong considering most homestays / airbnb type places include tea as a minimum. We hastily paid as didn’t want to spend another minute here. Friendly people, but sadly can only say the accommodation was awful.
