Don't stay here. They are as good as a 1 star hotel charging for a 4 star resort. Within the 20 some hours I stayed there, there were multiple power cuts, cockroaches and loud music on site. Staff is polite but untrained and incompetent. When our driver entered the premises to use the "public" toilet as guided by their own staff, the manager bypassed questioning her own staff and accused me of inviting non paying guests to the resort. Which, first, humans have to use the toilet, no need to be classist against drivers. Second, I didn't even know about it, so rather than asking me, she accused me which was unacceptable. Despite repeatedly clarifying that I didnt know if he entered, how etc, she kept insisting that it's against the rules as if I didn't understand the first time. Design wise- The toilet layout doesn'take sense. The wall paint is peeling in places. There are gaps below doors which allow insects to come in. Blue color is nice though There was underwear drying on the swing set in the play area. Oh there's also a lot of monkeys on site which made going outside or sitting outside the cottage impossible. When I complained about the hygiene issue and cockroaches, the manag

The hotel was okay, but I had some issues with cleanliness, WiFi, and food. I booked a two-night stay. First, I had to ask to replace the bedsheets because they didn’t feel fresh. They only provided one bath towel for two people, and there was no towel or bedsheet replacement for the next day. The WiFi in my room was also problematic. They did provide a temporary WiFi dongle, but it was useless. The food was okay, but I got stomach upset the next day. I’m still sick. The management was cooperative, but there’s still room for improvement. Despite all these adjustments, they’re strict about check-out times.

Very friendly staff food was good rooms were pretty decent but management played a smart trick with us.We had booked the entire property but were cheated by giving only 7 rooms out of 8 and inspite of multiple requests they didn’t give us the rooms we had booked instead blamed us and gave rooms to someone else. So please be careful when you are doing this kind of booking. Even during our stay in there were way too many restrictions with every small thing which was very irritating and disappointing. Later after lot of argument they were like ok do kind of attitude which was not very convincing

We had a great stay at Shree Kalya, Chikkamagaluru!! 1) Rooms - Spacious, clean, built is beautiful and has a cool color. 2) Service - Awesome, will arrange anything you want especially for kids. I travelled with an infant and a toddler. My trip was seamless. 3) Location - In the midst of coffee plantation, not far from city and still away from city's hustle bustle. Peaceful environment, much of greenery and beautiful ambience. Near to Mullayanagiri Peak. 4) Food - Super !! We got breakfast and dinner in the package. Lots of options in the buffet. Serves both Veg and Non-veg. High tea with snacks was add-on. 5) Cleanliness - Everywhere :) They keep cleaning the restaurant and the whole resort. Being a cleanliness freak, I liked it. 6) People for service - Be it office staff, restaurant staff (including cook) and facility staff, all are very nice people. They kept so much of patience for all the need and provided quick service. 7) Others - Small park area to keep kids engaged. Bon fire to enjoy the evenings. What else you would ask for ??

The bathrooms.could have been better. The resort is in a good location in a forest-like setting with lots of trees and good ambience. The swimming pool is well maintained.

Restaurant service was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent. Dinner dishes can be better. The place is quite, has enough greenery, clean and maintained. Rooms provide less value given the charges. Garden view rooms with higher charges do not provide any view at all. There's no proper system of refilling water in the rooms. They will provide only 1 litre of water per room during room service. Rest, you will have to buy water at restaurant rate.

A beautiful resort located amidst the coffee plantation and forest. Very spacious and well built. We stayed in cottage room, it was quite spacious and clean. But the main downside is it was quite hot during the day, since the resort is much lower in altitude in the hills. They should definitely include AC for the premium amount they're charging, which is a downside. Swimming pool is good and some games are maintained. We requested bonfire but they gave excuses and didn't arrange. Reception staffs are responsive when available, but sometimes no one is available, which is risky. Restaurant food is good, limited menu due to lpg crisis, but still they give good variety and taste. They arrange coffee plantation tour on request.

The resort is really good for the budget and the rooms are clean. The support staff is polite and very helpful, just one thing since the cook staff is local, they don't understand Hindi or English very well but if shown little patience and understanding they are willing to help and make amends as per your convenience. They have bonfire in the evening everyday which makes the experience fulfilling with a chilled vibe across the podium. Recommended for stay of 4 -5 days and want to chill and stay away from daily hustle.

A one year old small resort done in a 2 acres land with about 15 cute rooms!!! Resort has amenities of a big enough pool, a small kids play area, few indoor games, a restaurant. Rooms are spacious and maintained. Ok for a quick stay to enjoy the nature.... They offer a bonfire too. Food is good though their spread is limited. Overall, for a quick stopover with family & friends, this place can be checked for!!!

Beautiful property! The atmosphere was incredible, offering an ideal setting for relaxing with friends, family, and children. The rooms were excellent, spacious, and comfortable. Room service was prompt and very accommodating. The best aspect is the staff and service. They go above and beyond to ensure you are well-treated and are always eager to assist.

The stay in the Kalya resort is good and pleasant. The cottage was clean and well decorated on the bed. First impressions were good. Food(Veg) was awesome and we liked all the dishes including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are 8 cottages and only 2 are occupied and I felt like the entire resort was reserved for us😄. Tarun n team are good in their work and they are polite. Rohit is a property manager, he is done well and takes care of us. Overall i recommend this property for relaxing.
