Why the score — what people flag
“The rooms were not as expected... Toilets were kind of OK!! Closets was not fixed properly and was shaking 🤯.. When we checked in we did check with the guy in the reception for the parking and he told us to park in front of the shop on the ground floor and never told us there is a parking couple of blocks ahead. We had to move our car in the morning once the shop was opened.. While checking out we asked for the invoice and the guy at the reception was not ready to provide an invoice and asked us to wait until the owner arrives.. All in all Poor customer service.. Expected a much better service... We did a direct booking for 2 rooms.. However one of our friend backed out at the last minute so we requested the owner to cancel one room out of the two rooms we booked and asked to provide an extra bed. But the owner was not ready to do so and didn't see any courtesy from him.. So we had to simply utilise the extra room since they were it ready to refund. Wil never opt or suggest for this stay in future.”

“Room is not spacious, feels claustrophobic. Bathroom is extremely tiny. Room was dirty. There was stains in curtains and bedsheet. Hotel staffs were very rude and not Co-operative. There is no inside restaurant. Try other Hotel in Chikmagalur.”

Sujatha Nanjundeshwara★★★★★I was misled by the previous reviews and booked a room for our family a few days back. The hotel is literally located in a corner and is surrounded by SLUMS. No security personnel around. The exterior of the entire hotel is covered with glass windows which don't allow for ventilation and the rooms are claustrophobic and suffocating. The reception desk is located in a dark, dingy corner of the hotel and is eternally locked. You have to call them on their phones and they come down. We got towels on the first day and when we asked for fresh towels on the second day we were asked why we needed it! This hotel is suitable only for bachelors and businessmen. AVOID bringing ladies and families to this place. You will find much better hotels in the same price range on Indira Gandhi main road.

Soham Kundu★★★★★Room is dirty and unhygenic. Room is full of dust and cockroach. Bedsheet is dirty. Washroom is dirty. No basic facility is available. Shower is not available. I didn't checkin the hotel. Hotel owner is also unable to resolve my issue. I had a discussion with him but he is not refunding anything. My holiday is getting spoiled due to this hotel and now I have to search a different hotel. It is getting very difficult to trust goibibo now a days. Also don't trust the other reviews. All are fake. Room condition is not matching with whatever mentioned in photos.

VARTIKA GUPTA★★★★★There is no option for zero rating, else I would have given that. The hotel management is a big scam, rooms are awfully dirty even basic amenities are missing. They charge you so much considering the condition of room and if you want to check in early they will charge you double giving completely illogical responses. At the end they just want whole money in advance so that even if you want to checkout early considering you have been scammed they will not return single penny. Totally inconsiderate manager and highly unprofessional behaviour. Please avoid booking here else you will regret a lot.

We are suppose to extend one more day, but we are not interested...We asked invoice for 2 days stay...while checking out. They gave a print out sheet which doesn't have GST Pin...The owner replied need to pay Tax.. We are ready to pay that.. But he replied have to wait for 30 minutes... This is the real face of Henry Corner.... I'm sure he is not the Manager or Management Background...Have attached screenshot of conversion of Henry Corner.This all happened after vaisakh Sebastian comments...

Joffy Jose★★★★★Very bad experience we faced, when we checked in we checked for the parking and they said to park near the ATM on the ground floor and they didn't mention there was a parking few blocks ahead until we checked out ..there is no proper parking we had to park our car next to a shop which we had to move once the shop was opened in the morning ... TV was not working.. bathroom is not hygienic and the closets were not fixed properly on the floor.... its not service apartment its kind of lodge setup.. since we did a direct booking they were not ready to give us an invoice while checking out and they said there had to add GST additional to issue an invoice that too we have to wait for the owner for more than an hour.. the owner is cheater.. no proper cancellation policy... owner is not paying tax to government.. and not ready to pay commission amount to third part like booking. Com or trivago.... If you are booking directly.. please make sure you don't lose you money..they interest they show to collect the full amount while check-in is not seen afterwards... Request you to show some sort of courtesy to your customers going forward.... The owner was cursing us for putting this review in o
